Harrowstorm : Ghosts not moving

Since Blackwood, the ghosts aren't moving to the pikes so it's easier than ever now as there's no elite monsters spawning.

    How many players were participating in this harrowstorm? I might be wrong but I think it was intended change to lower the difficulty when not enough players are around. Yesterday I did some HS and I noticed that in larger groups the ghosts were moving resulting in additional minibossess while in 2-3 person groups they were not.

    Got it with large and small groups. Sometimes the first wave move, event if I'm alone or in small group like 2 - 3 players and after killing it, the other waves don't move anymore.

    The last storm i've done few minutes ago, in western skyrim, when I arrived at the storm, 3 elites were already here and the ghosts were moving. We killed this wave of ghost and then they stopped moving again ...

    I'm starting to think that i'm the problem lol (but I'm not using any add-on so that would be strange)

    I Also noticed that too, at First I thought It was something to make solo players and small group be able to complete them, but at a second sight I found that It should be a bug since It happens regardless the site of the group, sometime even with 0 player parteciparono ghosts nove toward pillars, sometime they do not move at all with group of at least 7 players.

    When ghosts do not move, sometime, Also bosses doesn't care about players, there are rare case where boss do not activate (they are blurred in black but they do not activate) at all.

    The problem seems to actually be with the Companions. Entering combat with an active Companion seems to aggro the Souls to the Companion, but I guess because the Souls can't actually attack or deviate from their route, they just float there without moving. If no one there has a Companion out, the Souls move on as per usual.

    Blurred in black, because they are still in the spawn phase? Each Champion requires 3 batches of 3 Souls to spawn into the Harrowstorm. They first appear very faint, then very dark and visible, before finally spawning in proper with the 3rd batch of souls. If that's the case then it should be working as intended.

    Interesting, you sure nobody stunned them? I know my tactic to soloing Harrowstorms is to use AoE stuns to permanently halt the ghosts since after they get stunned it somehow "deletes" their pathing causing them to no longer move.

    Well spotted. I think this is it. The ghosts just stop and stare at my companion when I arrive to a HS first. Certainly makes them easy to solo if no one is around.

    As far as I know, the stuns no longer keep them permanently stuck in place since Blackwood, at least on PC NA (though I never saw this being addressed in patch notes). Tested with several different stuns just to be sure, and the Souls go back to their paths after the stun ends. The only way to make the Souls stuck right now is by this Companion bug.
