ESO on Gamepass

I used to play ESO on Xbox a few years ago, but I've since switched to PC. My son wants to start playing ESO on Xbox (he's not using my PC :D ). I still want to stay on PC primarily, but I thought it would be fun helping him get started, teaching him mechanics, PvP, etc. We occasionally do this with Sea of Thieves together.

Would it create a conflict if I downloaded ESO from gamepass onto my PC so I could group up with him while he plays on Xbox?

I don't know the answer, but I do want to point out that the family that slays together, stays together. Playing this game with the kids is the best.

PC only plays on PC servers, even if you get it from Gamepass.

Hmmm. Okay, I assumed that it was like Sea of Thieves. When I play on my PC through Gamepass, I get on xbox servers, as long as my son gets in a server first. But, I think they allow cross play whereas ESO does not.

I'm looking forward to it if it's possible!
