Several gamers have made Harpooner's Wading Kilt TWICE

I have been after just one lead in Shadowfen, just the one and several gamers have made the KILT TWICE. ESO/ZOS where is the equality between clients in this game?

Once you dig up the leads once each, you can recreate the item immediately as many times as you like for 25 transmute crystals apiece. Why would you spend all that time farming leads again just for a second copy, unless you’re hunting codex entries?

Just having multiple copies of a mythic doesn’t mean they got all the leads twice, and even if they wanted to, how would the devs possibly make it so everyone has to get the lead once before others can get any of them twice? Many players are not hunting the kilt leads, and a lot don’t even have interest in mythics at all, if they even have access to Greymoor, so that’s not a viable proposition.

welcome to RNGesus. I managed to get a lead for one piece on my single character only account that has only just unlocked archaeology thanks to the eso-plus trial. I certainly wasnt farming for it, it was a random drop that im highly unlikely to scry before the 30 day timer on the lead expires.

Shizz happens. If YOU choose to follow a spreadsheet and the meta crowd then you only have yourself to blame if you can't put up with the grinding required.

I have been in Shadowfen for days now, gamers are going back to do guild dailies and stating they got the lead again.

As Virtus said, once a mythic is completed and part of your set collection, you can use the transmute station to reconstruct it for 25 crystals. Farming the leads again after the mythic has been completed is not necessary at all.

Same principle applies to gear from arenas, pvp, dungeons, trials and overland. Once you have it collected, you can reconstruct as many as you want, all that's needed are transmute crystals and upgrade materials.

Upgrade mats are not needed for reconstructing mythics however. Reconstructing gives you the item at the lowest quality/color it can be obtained in, and mythics only have one quality.

As for those who got the lead a second time, it's purely RNG and I doubt they'll ever change that.

Like others said once you get the kilt then it can be re-made for 25 crystals so no need to re-farm the leads. I made a second one so far and it was already improved to the orange mythic level.

I made that mistake with the Malacath band. I wasted transmutes changing its trait since I thought I would have to spend the mats improving it to the mythic level.

How can a gamer be on a node for around an hour and get it? Read this from gamers several times getting the lead and if this is their first time then it has nothing to do with RNG.

Everybody has the same chance to drop it.
So you are complaining about that other people get more lucky than you are. What exactly to do expect ZOS to do about that?

Alright let`s go there: I have had bad rng for over a year then I start spending money on Ayleid crates, all of a sudden my rng goes good and I start getting stuff left and right. Now that I haven`t been spending guess what, no more getting lucky. So I guess if you don`t spend money, you don`t get lucky. Wouldn`t doubt if eso/zos has us on a ranking system, your rank goes up when you spend and visa/versa! I`ll probably get this thread shutdown or even banned but this rng crap needs to stop!

Yes, you are out of luck. Once you have the lead, you will forget about your forum post like many other players that posted about their kilt farm badluck

It doesn't have to be. It simply has to favour those who claim to despise grinding while being obsessed with doing it  !

Your probably right but that`s my prerogative, I have bought this game and agreed to the terms. There are however terms that eso/zos has agreed to and IF they are placing clients on a ranking system, then they are not treating clients equally.

Sometimes I have extremely good luck. Sometimes not. Has nothing to do with whether or not I visit the crown store. Human nature we tend to remember the bad experiences more than the good ones. Part of our survival instincts, something bad happens and your brain says hey lets remember that so it doesn't happen again. Not so urgent now but when we were living in caves remembering to not poke a sleeping bear with a stick was a good thing.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

I got my first one just running around doing delves and picking up skyshards and lorebooks. I picked up 3 waterskins and literally the only 'pure water node' I saw had the lead, yes ONE NODE and I got it. But had to do RoM like 15 times for that lead.

BTW here is a secret that might help some people. Log on a toon who has NOT picked up all the lorebooks in Shadowfen because there is almost always a waterskin right next to a lorebook. BUT DO NOT PICK UP LOREBOOK. This way you can run from one lorebook/waterskin to the next, it beats sitting at one node and most people who already picked up lorebooks won't have the locations on their map so won't go there.

Well if you're camping one node it's up to you as it's probably the worst method (and community will proceed to do so anyway), after I've got it with relative ease everyone I've gave advice to actually find a less populated spot and run around were able to do it the same day, it's rng still but you're able to achieve more node per minute ratio this way making it also not as boring just standing and clicking once couple minutes.

Tried several different ways, groups, exchange between gamers and running around hitting multiples. So thanks for the input though.

You have the right to speak up and voice your opinion just like others have the right to disagree with your opinion.
I wanted the beacon of tower zero for my house and spent over a month never getting the lead then in a weeks span I got the lead 3 times. It is just the way RNG works and sometimes the numbers fall in your favor and sometimes they don't.

Sorry for your bad luck and I do hope it turns around in your favor.

It is def a coincidence but I never buy anything and have 37,000 crown so spent 900 on 18 skyshards in crown store quickest way to get 6 SP BTW, but got my lead on the first pure water node on that same toon same day.

But I went to murkmire to find the foul water lead and didn't get it for about an hour. Then logged in next day with a toon that has master angler and I used the food that gives better luck with fish, and got it on 3 cast.

As a test why don't you buy something from crown store and try to get lead again. I will do the same to see if it seems faster. One thing for sure is that ZOS changes stuff all the time, for instance, I do daily writs ever single day for 4 years on min 4 toons, sometimes all 13 toons when there is double XP or loot, and without a doubt ZOS is constantly changing the amount of XP you get from them. For years I would consistently get 20K XP. Now I only get 5.6K XP and sometimes 11K.

Lol. Let's not peddle in conspiracy theories. I spent 14 hours in total to get the lead, but the rest were fairly easy and enjoyable to obtain. I think the current drop rate is acceptable. The problem is the current demand for the lead leading to people camping nodes all over the place. Once more people get it, more nodes will be available for those who are still searching, thus their odds increase, and as long as they're persistent, they'll get the lead.

    Correlation is not causation.

But we humans like to find patterns & relationships even when they don’t exist.

I wanted a second canoe lead to drop; I bought *nothing* in the crown store and did the dailies. Yesterday it dropped.

    Not everything is a conspiracy.
