Getting ALL the Quests

One of the thing I like about ESO is after you complete a main quest story line, you get to meet and greet all the characters from the side quests you did. This helps add a lot of flavor to the story. However, the unique quests achievement meter for the expansions is inefficient. In places like Vardenfell and Blackwood I missed side quests before finishing the main, thus missing the chance to see more characters at the victory celebrations. Is there a way to know you've done ALL the side quests? Also, is there a way to effectively find them other than being a few meters from them?

Is there an addon that tracks this? Because even though my map says all the side quests are complete, I still occasionally run into one I missed.

I don't know that this is 100% in all cases, but you can find out what the last stage of the main zone quest is under your achievements. Usually something like "Hero of/Savior of" whatever.

When you get to that last quest, open the zone map and mouse over all the quest hubs. If they don't say, "You helped the X defeat the Y" blah blah stuff and just have the name of the place, you didn't finish that quest hub.

Not all quest hubs provide an extra "ending" NPC, but it seems the case that of the ending NPCs there, they're always from one of the completed quest hubs.

You need a (very) good memory. And a full list.

    There's this one:

Edit: doesn't seem to include side Quests yet

A list is nice but it doesn't tell you which quests you have not completed. Not all the side quests count toward map completion. More than once I have run into a side quest I hadn't done in a zone that shows 100% completed in the map. An addon for this would be great.

Here's an addon that helps you automatically track what quests in a zone you still have yet to do.

    https://esoui.com/downloads/info1785-JournalQuestLog.html

It collects quest data from people using uespLog from what I gather, so it may not be immediately up to date on every single quest right at Chapter and DLC release, but will be as quickly as the addon tool can detect all of the quests from all the players combined using it.

It does have a lot of blackwood quests already in it though.

I have heard that there are exactly the right amount of side quests to complete the achievement to unlock Water’s Edge - without doing any main story quests. Mirri & Bastion quests need to be done to add to this number, but they apparently count towards it. So - if you’ve unlocked the house without doing the main - you got ‘em all.
