PVP mag sorc - silenced front bar and bar swap issue

This issue has come up just in the last two weeks for my pvp mag sorc. At times i am unable to bar swap while in combat and this has happened more frequently in the last week. It will take exactly 3 attempts before the bar will swap. Aldo while in combat, my front bar (damage) gets silenced with the exception of streak and light/heavy attacks work. Up until tonight it was very temporary but now it is permanent as in 4 of my 5 front bar abilities do not work at all.

I travelled out, I quit the game and deleted the cache and also did a hard reset on m’y Xbox to no avail. I also tried to switch skills and unequip gear to no avail. Reloadui did nothing.

I am unable to play my toon right now. I’ve opened a ticket and I’m hoping there is a fix.

Join the club. Only I'm on PC and its been like this for months on all my characters.

I received a response from zos. Only the third suggestion worked for me which was to hit a shrine and reset all my skill points and reslot. That at least fixed the skill portion but the bar swap issue.

Zos said there is a known bug with toons that have too many skills points that causes bar swapping and reviving issues. It’s supposed to be resolved in an upcoming update but there is currently no workaround.

If you can't bar swap, go to the in-game controller settings and see if it's been switched from Template A to Template B or Template C.
