Cant stop killing torchbugs since getting Mirri

Before Mirri i went through the game without ever accidently clicking the tourchbug.

After? Go to click a quest objective? Sudden tourchbug flies over it out of nowhere.
Crafting bench? Same.
Go to open a barrel? Look around.... "Ok good no bugs." Click.... Suddenly tourchbugs.
Want to loot a corpse? You better bet there's sudden tourchbugs!
Use an AOE effect? Oops a Jelly just flew into range, died, and pissed her off.
The one thing im not doing? Deliberately harvesting tourchbuigs.

This has become severely annoying.
Its tedious enough getting affinity without the added difficulty of randomly spawning bugs!

I'd say this is a case of confirmation bias - you simply notice it more since you are made more aware of it.

If you're on PC there's an addon called No Interact where you can blacklist insects so you can't interact with them. You can always turn it off when you put Mirri away and are ready to harvest again.

Torchbug Georg is a statistical outlier and should not have been counted.

I absolutely adore No Interact and would refuse to play without it.

The only way I'd ever click on a torchbug is if Mirri would get out of the way, first.

Actually, that goes for clicking on ANYTHING.

Hooo yeah i agree.
Clicking her every 2 seconds instead of looting....anything is a total pain.
