Thoughts on stam DPS running 2H/2H?

I was curious to see if anyone else is running 2H/2H for their stam DPS characters? I have been messing with it on my DK, and its been a lot of fun, and feels more thematic than running bow, or dual wield on the backbar. I know optimal DPs would be to run DW/2H, or DW/bow, but I just love the feel of 2H on DK's. I pretty much only do solo arenas, dungeons/vet dungeons and rarely run trials, so my setup isn't the optimal trials DPS setup, but I still put out really good damage. Stampede feels amazing now, in dungeons I end up just spamming it to clear trash.

MY setup is as follows:
5x Briarheart
5x Leviathan
1x Slimecraw
1x Grundwulf
Briarheart 2H front bar
Maelstrom 2H back bar

Front bar - Stone Giant, Executioner, Noxious Breath, Venomous Claw, Camo Hunter, Flawless Dawnbreaker
Back bar - Stampede, Flames of Oblivion, Barbed Trap, Molten Armaments, Echoing Vigor, Standard of Might

I haven’t really tested it out this patch other than a single parse but I’ve been running for the last 3 patches 2H/DW on my Stamden without an arena weapon hitting 96K in Markarth and 92K in Flames of Ambition. Relequen body, AY weapons and jewelry. Selene monster helm.

Without switching gear, CP or the new mythic item i hit 86k on my only parse to get a feel for what’s missing. I should be back up over 90 once I put in a little effort to refining the build.

I have considered going double 2H with maelstrom backbar but I’m still think BRP daggers would be better.

It's fine. Not optimal as you're already aware.

Main limit is lost utility from a different weapon's skill line but if you're mostly class abilities anyway, doesn't matter.
