vallisas✭✭✭Bastian is fine, just don't steal infront of him. He doesn't like when you kill non-hostile animals as he believes life shouldn't be just wasted like that, but you don't lose rapport with him when you do it.
Personally I like how much he cares about the player character, feels like a real friend, sometimes after battle he'll ask "are you hurt".5 -

Oddly enough she does. She hates Goblins, Snakes and Boats. If you talk to her she says as much, and mentions she likes a drink so your rapport goes up if you craft alcohol. Not sure, but it can't be an alcohol thing because he 1. also complains if you craft tea, and 2. talks about going to a tavern to spend the gold you loot from chests.4 -

You lose rapport looting insects with mirri, you don't killing animals with bastian. That's the difference.1 -
vallisas✭✭✭I also think some of the likes/dislikes aren't fine tuned as some of the dislikes don't make sense. Bastian was shown drinking in one of the trailers, and he also talks about drinking4

✭I hear he also loses rapport when you craft Firsthold Fruit and Cheese Plate, but I haven't tried this yet. I did make Clear-Eye Whiskey and he didn't complain or lose rapport. What is his dialogue when you make tea? He seems to have weird issues around provisioning in general from the posts I've seen, but I haven't lost rapport with him at all on live (I send him away before I loot a Thieves Trove) so he's easy to get along with for me.PC NA, CP2200+. When you do, just do it all at once. Take the rapport hit for the first one, then grab as many as you can before the cooldown expires. Don't graze for your food.

Bekkael✭✭✭✭✭An easy way to avoid any rapport loss with Bastion, is that I have my crafting stations all set up inside my Flaming Nix inn room. Since companions disappear inside any of your houses… Of course, unsummoning works too.
Only time I ever lost rapport with him was when I accidentally stole something from the cart behind a merchant in Gideon when I tried to click the merchant and she moved. 🤦🏼♀️ A pox upon those responsible for placing items that are hard not to accidentally steal around merchants and writ turn-in locations. vallisas✭✭✭I have to say after roaming a bit with Mirri, i'm a bit taken aback by some of the complaints about Bastian concerning crime. I'm finding that Mirri complains way more. Bastian is atleast ready to face anything, ready for any fight. I feel like Mirri groans about everything. You summon her, she groans. You enter a fight, she groans. Fight ends she groans, it's like she in part can't be arsed with actual adventuring whereas Bastian is all for it and everything that comes with that, including fighting.3

I am not finding any rapport decreases for crafting alcohol or tea on Bastian. Can someone list the exact beverage provisioning recipes you are getting negative rapport for crafting? I also am not getting negative rapport for killing rats on Bastian (or any other similar passive-type creature). I actually had to install the No Accidental Stealing add-on that I have managed to do just fine for several years without, because unless it was in a bank (and yeah, I would like to viciously tickle whoever puts things on bank counters that are stealable, ha ha very funny) it was just an oops before and now it's a blankety blank setback. Ugh.

Mirri loses her mind if you manage to get dead, found this out the hard way... completely misjudged a turn at speed and went flying off the topmost bridge in the Stitches... so yeah.

Attn: please make future companions more flexible in this regard and stop with the drink-crafting and bug-killing hate while they have no qualms about fighting bears, wolves, hostile birds, and bad guy humans!3 -

It's made with Metheglin which is spiced mead, so that tea actually contains alcohol. See if you lose rapport for a tea that doesn't contain Metheglin.This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.1 -

YES OMG, I find her lines pretty annoying after doing treasure maps with her today. Everything is about nagging, or blaming me for her getting better at fighting, like that's a bad thing, asking me 'how much trouble I am in' just cause I called her for a treasure chest and more.
And don't even get me started on accidentally grabbing tiny bugs I couldn't see when trying to gather a ore or wood node.
Bastian has been a breath of fresh air, no nagging or complaining and sometimes even has fun little comments about stuff. A lot of his lines are also spirit lifting, like when he mentioned putting trust back into people about strangers coming to their aid (I worded that weirdly but it's late here so shh lol)
Plus the little 'combat tips' he gives during fights can be handy for new players. Mirri hasn't given a toot and actually nags further, with a snide 'thanks for asking about my wellbeing' or whatever. And it's like? We don't have the OPTION to ask so please just STAHP.Hoping for more playable races1 -
