Companion ect despawn

Anyone else having trouble with followers mounts despawning?

I was in Blackwood, on a Warden, with the bear and Mirri following and mounted

Riding along and suddenly my mount, bear and Mirri all despawned.

Happened a couple of times now,

This just happened to me while I was swimming across a short lake. It took all of about 5 seconds. When I got to the other side, Mirri had despawned. I had to resummon her manually.

This is not helped by the fact that there is no notification when the companion despawns when we go across terrain, ride too fast, or use wayshrines/teleports.

It's very easy to miss the fact they're gone if you're not aware of this issue and actively checking to make sure they're still there.

I've had this, mostly if I'm crossing a lake they despawn and come back but I've had a few occasions where they didn't reappear.

Also is it intentional that they despawn when I use a banker or merchant? Cos that's just irritating if I'm in the middle of a dungeon or delve. I keep missing that they're gone after an inventory purge and then missing out on XP for them.

Yes, merchants, bankers, the fence, and companions now all count as allies. Only one of those can be out at a time.

It used to be that you could have a merchant/banker/fence or a pet out, not both, but they now allow both companions and pets out at the same time. I haven’t checked to confirm, but you should be able to have a banker/merchant/fence and pet out together now too.

It’s happened to me several times while questing. She just disappears. Also she gets dismounted a lot. I’ll look and she will be running behind me.

This also happened to me again just now when I was excavating.

Mirri was standing right next to me when I began the excavation. When I got done, she was gone. Of course I didn't get the rapport for it either.

Mirri has randomly despawned 4 times in the past 2 days. 3 times when I crossed a body of water and once was just random while farming.

There is one specific spot in craglorn where she will despawn without fail and you have to manually call her again, very easily repeated

I take it you mean near Captain Graalug, just outside Bankorai Gate, in Craglorn? I can spawn her right there, but moving away and back despawns her again. I was just able to reproduce the bug pretty consistently, enough to decide to post it here. So odd.. And since I am using her in part to get the bonus from any treasure chests and there's no notification when she despawns, this is a bit inconvenient..

It is near the bangkorai gate, on a spot on the road parallel to a runestone node (its on my farming run). 100% everytime I need to respawn Mirri
