my staff suddenly did no more damage, was irritated.

Looked in my inventory - the enchantment was empty, had to be recharged with a soul gem. How could this happen? Have maxed out the skill in the green CP tree to avoid it...

Oh well, also this skill is "halved" now in CP 2.1. So we will encounter again in the middle of a fight, that we must recharge... I was so happy when this was no longer required in CP 2.0, sad this is back again

Oh no, really? I loved this passive skill and have to admit, that I didn't have checked it after the update.

They should add auto recharge to that passive.

It was actually unintended behaviour afaik, was just a fix.

isnt it beutifull how game game works "properly" and immersive without addons?

I hope there will be an option to auto use soul gems in future on consoles too, if this skill remains as it is in the moment.

I use an Addon for that. I never bothered about enchantments in about 4 years. That new CP just spares me some Soul Gems, because I am dangerously low with my 1.4k in the bank and 200 in each inventory of each character.

Yes, I was upset about this one. It seemed like such an unnecessary change. Even in all the years I've been religiously recharging weapons in my toons I've NEVER had to farm soul gems. The mechanic is a pointless time waster when the resource isn't scarce. I shouldn't say that, now they'll come for our gems. 🤔
