Is it really necessary for you to be rude in pvp after you kill another player?

I have noticed sometimes a player Teabagging or Tacoing ( female toons) once they get a kill in. Its sorta rude, could you please stop the tacoing or teabagging.

A lot of them have big egos and most (not all) can’t comprehend that they lost so they do dumb stuff and feed off negativity in order to feel good about themselves
Edit: just ignore them and move on, best thing you can do in that situation

Wouldn't it technically be tacoing for all since none of our characters actually have any junk between the legs?

Technically you are supposed to formally ask them not to do that, screenshot your request so it's on record, and then if they do it again you have to record them doing it and send all that in to ZOS. Clearly since that's a load of work ZOS doesn't expect or want people to do it but they did officially say if someone does it after you've asked them to stop, it's harassment. If I ever create a dedicated PvP character I am going to name him Please Don't Teabag Me and that'll cover Step One from the getgo, and also will be irresistible bait so I can catch me a lot of folks who just cannot resist and start drowning the devs in reports. Maybe then they'll actually do something about that behavior that might work to curb it.

After many years of PVPing, I have come to believe that rudeness and excessively offensive behavior not only makes you a stronger player but it makes you really cool to observers too. So by all means, thrust your unspeakable parts onto your victim repetitively until they cry for mercy and your teammates stop to point and laugh. You will sleep better at night and avoid expensive psychological counseling in the future.

I prefer to tease a little but it doesn't have to be rude or offensive. Several emotes could be used, you could probably /playdead on them and then /lol. A basic /cheer. Even /chaosballvictory if you have it. There's certainly room for creativity over what is most common.

Maybe you'll give that player a chuckle instead of just making them angry. You might also get ganked while you are celebrating and I'm sure that would be entertaining to them also.

    Make it fun for all!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the TBag/what-ever-you-want-to-call-it-for-the-ladies, but I do use /shovel. That is always nice of you to dig the grave of your enemies. There is also /sweep if they are on a stone keep floor (don't want to dig there!).

Though I have never done this, and actually consider it quite worse than the TBag, there is always /sick.

Regardless, it is a game. In PVP, there are quite a few people who take things WAY TOO SERIOUS. So you can 2-shot me. Good on you. Just have fun and move on.

    Do not gloat if you:
    - Came in AFTER your teammate weakened your enemy before you killed them. Literally a handicap.
    - Spammed Sweeping Spears and literally NO other attacks. (Other spammables that heal+damage also). This is not skill, it is a tactic, but a guar can do more abilities. (Example: Bittergreen The Wild)
    - Were ganging up on one player with teammate(s). If I can see my death recap has 2 or 3 player names in it, none of them deserve to gloat.

If anyone breaks these rules above and gloats via teabagging or aggressive chat messaging after my character dies, I reply that they're pathetic and explain which rule (above) that they 'broke' and they don't deserve to gloat. I remind them that they "shouldn't take out their frustration on others just because their real life is trash..."

I think I've had some critical hits with those words because a couple times they shut up or said "Ouch."

Remember, it's a game. Don't be a jerk, have fun.

You can always screen shot them doing it and then report it to zos. It is against terms of service, so they can get temporarily or permanently banned.

If someone does that to me in a bg I usually just say to them "why would you do that when we will end up on a team together?" They normally apologize at that part. If not, I hunt them down and kill them over and over again lol.

If they are toxic, go ahead and report them. Cut that garbage out!

I don't think this is true. Every competitive game has some form of banter, in ESO this is that.

Now if they were to whisper you insults, threats, or just mocking you, I'm confident that is against ToS.

...but so what? I don't get the impression that it is enforced.
    ...and for good reason.
Complaining about how someone celebrates their win in a digital environment is absurd.
They include it in their ToS as more of an obligation and a deterrent.
Rarely (even in extreme and repeated cases) would t-bagging be considered harrassment by any reasonable adult.

    You don't get it:
Gloating creates unnecessary frustration for the loser, and frustration is not as effective as having fun in order to keep people playing PvP.

    Your choice is:
    * Anger, scare, or depress players with toxic-alpha behavior over a GAME.
    * Be civilized, enjoy your moment without rubbing it in to the loser's face like a spoiled sport.

Just because you're ok with people gloating when they beat you, does NOT make it right for everyone to do it if you want a welcoming community with players to keep playin.

Option 1 sorts out the nice, leaving more likely toxic players to be the only ones that remain.

A lot of thought goes into the teabagging process. While a majority of us try to be the better man, or woman, it's not always possible. For example, what if

    a) The defeated player dragged out the fight for so long your coffee went cold because they were running around a tree for 10 minutes
    b) The defeated player was running a disgusting overpowered build but managed to fall to your 5 ashen grip (yeah I actually ran that for a while xD)
    c) The defeated player was a mobile nightblade, cloaking every time you looked in their general direction to the point where you had to just stand there and wait for them to initiate, making the fight incredibly tedious

It's difficult to resist the urge to assert your dominance under these circumstances, and if I were defeated in combat after showing one of the above traits, then I'd expect your disrespect as well. Nay, I'd welcome it.

It's not all bad, though, and I'd hate to see people put off pvp because of this. A majority of my friends are people I fought from other factions. While coming across disrespect is always possible, mutual respect can also be found in battle. Don't be afraid of falling and give it your all, and you'll definitely earn mine.

    For glory or Sovngarde!

    Today I learned tacoing

Also, frankly, being offended by, getting upset or finding it rude behavior to teabag really is on you. You need to try and turn your give a f&*^ levels down. Most of the time it's the equivalent to harmless trash talk in the arcade or at a pc lan center. Need to develop that thick skin, which is especially easy in an online environment where you aremt even actually physically interacting with the person doing the "trashing". You really shouldnt put any stock into it. In my experience, the most comical thing is that many people actually believe that those who teabag think they are good or have big egos and while some probably do feel themsleves in pvp, 99 percent of the time, it's the person who gets upset by getting tea bagged that raises the loudest alarms and makes it a thing, where the person who tea bagged has already forgotten about it 2 minutes later.
