Maintenance for the week of January 5:

· [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for maintenance – January 7, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 10:00AM EST (15:00 UTC)

It just seems ESO is a watered down shadow of its former self

Imagine talking about CGI's no one paying any attention to as some representative source. It was pretty bad and still remains bad, also a waste of money that could be spent on actual testers or even better marketing campaigns (or just better trailers lmao).

Do new CGI characters looking goofier than the last ones? Maybe, but still it's probably what zos asked them to make so our opinion isn't anything significant there.

Still, that's your opinion. For example, I didn't like the main quest/story in Morrowind, even if it was linked to CWC and Summerset and I liked last year's story, despite some weaknesses in Q2.

That's the case. When ZOS had enough time to create an expansion, they also could focus on what they have done bad previous year. Morrowind was boring for me too, then we got CWC wich story is one of the best in ESO despite the small size of the location, next was Summerset, story was good and we had plenty of new content.

What happend then? Elsweyr gave us a piece of khajiity culture (not every breed represented), necromancer class (still bad). Dlc was about dragonguard, we got grappling bow (but able to use it only in the small number of places).
Greymoor brought us not even a half of the western Skyrim and a vamire's subclass rework (players still complain about how bad it is). Dlc Markart gave us some potentially good ideas (dark heart itself and the lazy-design void undead) but still not finished despite the location were already exist in TESV.
And now... Piece of Cyrodiil, same old Dagon, same oblivion portals and the greatest regret – companions. Dialogs with them are poor and unrealistic ("What are you think about our relationsp?" — Who even speaks like that?), lack of posibility to cover their heads, and impossibility to craft their armor (Why am I leveld my professions???)

So, as you can see, ZOS have some good ideas, but can't bring them right way because of time restrictions.

If you are going to talk about villians though I cannot even remember the name of the Blackwood one, I mean how in the hell are they supposed to be a threat at this point in time? Sure he is not the big bad but neither was High-King Svargrim but at least he was a Vampire Lord, this villian however is just some guy who is trying to pose as the threat to a protagonist who at this point should be in the same tier as The Nerevarine/The Champion of Cyrodiil/The Last Dragonborn.

It is laughable, at this point we should beable to tell the villian of any expansion that they are not tough, they are weaker then the last 5 Villians we defeated and imagine their reaction when they realize the Vestige is permanently unkillable so their threats hold no weight.

Considering the people who handle dialogue and writing insist on making us seem like complete idiots with the dialogue options we have had in the last few expansions and also refuse to do two separate dialogue instances - one for veterans of the game who've done the story and one for new players (because we apparently forget everything per new piece of content) I hold out no hope of them letting us talk down to the villains lol

I seriously do not understand ... like with summerset raz almost seemed like he didn't even remember who we are for a while. Then he did then he didn't again. Its really frustrating trying to immerse yourself in a game when you're gimped by your own dialogue options.
