Will we get evil companions?

After getting scolded by Mirri, the Nightblade companion, for harvesting flying insect parts it got me thinking about having companions with alignments that are more 'evil' in nature. Now I'm not asking for completely mustache twirling evil (though I wouldn't be upset by that either) but there's a lot of opportunity for doing dastardly deeds in this game and I was wondering if we'd ever get companions that would reflect that.

We can make our characters necromancers, vampires, dark brotherhood assassins (and some people are even all three), etc. so I feel like it just makes sense.

Having seen how limited and unuseful current companions are, it makes me want even more alt companions. If they are going to be so plain, at least let us have a companion that fits our rp or playstyle.

I'd love to have an orc with me that just loves punching stuff and bashing skulls in. "You left that werewolf alive? Damn, I needed a new rug."

Vampire companion who delights in your carefree murderhobo lifestyle, but frowns upon your good deeds.

Well just the fact that their is a spare slot in the companions collectibles seems to tell me we should at least get a third?

A third one will likely come with the Q4 DLC and will probably be a more darker aligned companion.

It would fit nicely to the Argonian theme of Blackwood if we got a Shadowscale in Q4.

I wouldn't mind a personality like Green-Venom-Tongue as a companion. Always wished I could hear more of his wacky commentary analyzing my adventures. Could be hilarious on a criminally motivated character.

I would very much like a DB companion similar to the shadowy supplier.

Even if we did something they didn't like at least they'd have the good grace to <Remain Silent>

A Dark Brotherhood companion would be a great addition.

Or just a neutral companion who simply doesn’t care - you want to loot and kill, sure. Harvest insects? Why not? Fraternise with the Thieves Guild? Whatever. And maybe as a mercenary who you pay to join you - rather than the rapport system.

If we'll get a companion who does not get fussy about Blade of Woe use they almost certainly are crippled with neurotic dislike of proximity of spoons or bards and disapprove collecting fleshflies, crawlers and worms. With luck, rappart fuss gets nerfed when everyone has forgotten who actually thought that kind of stuff is a good idea. In few years.

Would love it if we got the molag bal projection, which we see after completing the main quest, as a companion. He gains rapport when you kill innocents and steal stuff, and loses rapport every time you kill bandits and cultists. Would be awesome for evil characters.

I can already see some of his lines: "Don't help that man, just let his family die." "You moron, you saved the queen when you could have let her die." "I hate you!" "Kill someone, now!"

I'd love it if companions could use our collected skins. Would be cool to make Mirri look like an soul shriven or vampire.

As long as I don't have to grind out DB and TG dailies again...

I'm totally going to have to do that, aren't I?
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

I’m almost certain we will get more evil aligned companions. Perhaps even a vampire one at some point. My big fear is that the will lock the very unique and cool ones behind clown crates.

What would be nice is if we got companions placed in old content. Say we unlock a dark brotherhood assassin companion by doing quest for the dark brotherhood, or a mage companion by doing the mages guild quest line or psijic order quest line. This would encourage more people to play through the old content and experience more of the game instead of forcing us to pay $$$ for it.

I’m hoping they will give us a werewolf and vampire companion one day. Would be nice to wolf out with a companion from time to time.

A Murder of Crows who gain substantial Rapport and audibly rejoice when you use the Blade of Woe ;)

I really like the crows rather cheeky conversations.

At the moment my Shadowscale can't have a companion. :/
During the afternoon of Loredas, 6 Sun’s Dawn 2e578 a big piece of Aetherius fell to Nirn. It was the first major piece of Aetherius to fall on Nirn in more than five hundred years. It scattered around the world as millions of shards. It was rapidly documented by Lady Cinnabar of Taneth in her pamphlet Aetherial Fragments that "... when three shards meet, they re-form into a silvery prism by unknown process and confer the power unlocked by the merger to a nearby being." The Order of the Black Worm, commonly known as the Worm Cult, reappeared in Tamriel shortly thereafter and some of its members are avidly searching said shards.
In the last week of First Seed 2e579, an arcane explosion occurred in the Imperial City — a night of storms, and trembling terrain. They named it the "Soulburst". That day Emperor Varen Aquilarios disappeared without a trace. His wife, Clivia Tharn, ascended to the Ruby Throne as Empress Regent under the guidance of the Necromancer Mannimarco. Ushering a time of increased instability within the Empire of Cyrodiil which finally grew into “The Three Banners War”.

I doubt it. Like Felarian they need to have a starting point. So crown crates are out ! It sucks to have to go to Alinor to meet him.

Exactly, they don't care what mortals do. So hopefully ZoS would not make them rage at anything, like the sight of bards, spoons, bug squishing, rainbows, or sunshine.

Just imagine, do U want a mount just go a take it from the world, for let say 2-3h.

Do U want a companion, also for limited time, go fight some creature and when it become weak, catch it, buff it, and U have a companion for some hours or until it dead.

My companions are taking hits from my necromancer….being in the dark brotherhood. We do need some sort of alignment adjustment. Mirri is a nightblade and should be aligned to the thieves guild as well as the dark brotherhood. The other dude…just no…I can’t stand him…really …

Devs please make a change so they match up with the players alignment or let us pick their guilds so that we won’t have ummm…moral issues. Hehe😃

Considering our characters lack a choice of being evil I would not expect a companion being evil.
