Ivory Brigade Clasp drop rate

Should Ivory Brigade Clasp (new Ivory Brigade style material) drop from each Leyawiin coffer received for daily world bosses quests in Blackwood? Or it is just a chance it will drop? For me, it dropped every time so far. For my wife it dropped yesterday but today on two characters the coffer gave only an item without material...

I have three days without any style material from daily quests. But I found two of them while I was digging for antiquaries. The alinor and elsweyr daily quests seems to give style materials every time.

So I think they are rng and I had bad luck.

I absolutely hate how they keep playing around with the style mats. It seems every new set of furnishing that comes out has a different way of getting the style mats and Leyawiin seems to be one of the worst so far. It's bad enough that houses cost a fortune in real money. It's bad enough that furnishings require insane amounts of mats, especially things like heartwood and decorative wax and you have to spend time just farming endlessly for them instead of actually enjoying playing the game. They have turned decoration into absolute drudgery. At the very LEAST they could make the style mats easily and abundantly available. All this artificial scarcity is incredibly galling and very poor design!

I used to think that the Arkthzand Sprocket farming conundrum was dreadful, then ZOS went 'hold my beer' and made the Ivory Brigade Clasp one ten times worse.

Same with the motifs, acquiring Ancestral Reach pages felt unfair already; ZOS must have caught wind of this and went 'what? you think this is unfair? oh my sweet summer child, let me show you what is unfair.'

I meanwhile stopped doing blackwood dailies because it is so rarely in the reward boxes. With deconstructing frostbite gear, I have approx 25-33% chance to get a clasp. So I need 3-4 dailies for one, and this with bosses that are harder than in Summerset or N.Elsweyr, and the delves are larger.
So it is not really worth the effort. And I say this as hardcore farmer, who meanwhile ran more than 4000 dailies in Summerset and Elsweyr.

Now during the event you just could do just the delves, as even on the usually well populated xbox NA server you might have to wait 30-60 minutes until you find someone to finish a worldboss with. If you find anyone.

I found with the more rare requirements, I just let it go and work with the styles/furnishings that I like from past things. I'm quite fond of both the Clockwork and the Murkmire furnishings.

Wish I could find a good way to mix them....

Yall know you can convert Mimic stones into this motif style right ?

Make motif item with mimic stones -> decon item -> you get your reagent

yes, but this is no valid method to farm, just for building some furniture for personal use.
Farmers talk about amounts of 1000 pieces upwards, the time you invest in farming is what allows you to offer the crafted furniture for prices people are actually able or willing to pay.

Bastian is actually really good for helping clear the World Bosses if you're struggling with one. And even if you don't, can make things just go smoother. Like I usually have Basitan hold the melee minotaur boss while I kill his buddy. Makes that fight a breeze.

I can and have done held both on me, especially now that I am leveling Mirri, but it's honestly so easy with Bastian.

It's easier to decon armor and get the style material back from it. That's how I've got mine.

I have done that when I just wanted an item or two real quick to finish off a part of a house, but it's insufficient for large quantities such as if you wanted to sell furniture or wanted to decorate a home in a particular style.

I don't craft furniture to sell nor do I buy furniture from crafters. I only make what I want/need for my own houses. Over time, I'll have enough of whatever mats I need. I'm never in a hurry to furnish....
