I'm hoping I am missing something that will change my mind but I have yet to come across it.

I suppose one thing I did like about the expansion is that no proc pvp ended. But i guess that wouldn't really be considered part of the expansion.

New raids, dgs, races, classes and if im not wrong, arenas. You may not like(i hate pandas) but the content delivered is not even close.

Nice hyperbole and baiting. If you actually feel that way I suggest you play a different game. The rest of us are enjoying Blackwood.

I don’t know what’s your play style and approach to the new content, but I’ve spend probably 6-10 hours in Blackwood so far, and I haven’t even started the zone storyline there yet.

Edit. And that number didn’t even include 2 hours in Rockgrove

I like it just fine so far. All I've really done is gotten both companions on several characters and worked (outside Blackwood) with the companions. So far, I'm pleased with the implementation of the companions and am very glad for the feature.

Have you done all the side quests? Explored every delve? Killed every boss? Tried the new trial?

Also, 2 hours seems like way too fast. Perhaps you rushed through most of the dialog?

It's all about how you approach completing the chapter.

While there's lots of side quests, I agree the main storyline is very, very short (2-3 hours with listening to all the dialogue). Felt like the starter island quest line.

Blackwood itself is a mish mash of old assets, the only exception being the cities. While Leyawiin is lovely hub, you spend most of the time in Gideon.

I think the days of designing new zones and it's peoples (like Summerset) is well and truly gone. I also think we all know where the next DLC is going to be. That tiny spec of land to the south is my bet.

Companions are quite useless but it's nice to have someone comment on your actions. Kind of half way between non linear progression and having the main PC voiced.

The biggest disappointment is probably that this does not feel like Cyrodill (yes I'm away that part has a different climate and all but it still felt like 99% Murkmire)

All in all, I'd give it a 3/10. For the price, there's definitely not enough substance.

Blackwood is not the worst expansion in online gaming history. Quite being dramatic.
