Valkynaz Orran Not Appearing

I am trying to the leave the party in the deadlands with the third ambition (main storyline) and the quest says "defeat Valkynaz Orran". I see this long health bar at the top of the screen and a Dremora inside a bubble, but nothing I can attack.
Any suggestions on how to continue? I have reloaded UI and logged out and back in - but nothing.

I had the same issue but the patch didn't address it.
I noted that the trigger for the quest is slightly smaller than the room and if you start engaging the dremora before entering the "ring" the subsequent waves fail to trigger.
My fix was to log out, wait the obligatory 15 minutes for the quest to reset then do it again but this time move into the ring before engaging.0
