Companions don't have floating markers above their head! INTENDED?

Usually all combat pets in the game have marker above their head indicating your pet, for some reason companions don't.
My Bastian always gets lost in group of other Bastians in the world, what do I do?

Mine doesn't even have a health bar on my screen. I have no way of knowing how he's doing in combat. In fact, when I look at him up close, the health bar over his head is red, as though he were an enemy. Granted, this could be an AUI thing but I haven't tried disabling my addons to find out yet.

On one hand I hate the pet marker because it doesn't turn off in screenshots, but on the other...I would like to know where my dude is without having to make him wear a marble white costume to stand out.

1. Well, you can always disable the markers in game settings if you don't really like them..



2. For screenshot I personally use an addon (Ultimate UI Hider) which hides every part of UI.. it's very handy!
I'd post a link or screenshot but I don't know if I'm allowed to do this on the forum.

@gmr4fun I found the addon, definitely going to check that out. Also, I seem to have never checked the nameplate section of settings before because all of that looks completely new to me. Damn. Thanks for the heads up!
