Toad-Tongue War Camp boss bugged - not clearing

Hello,

PC-NA, been a bug since launch where you don't get credit for killing the boss and thus can't fill in the map or the achievement for Saviour of Blackwood.

Thank you, and hope this is fixed soon.

Im also having issues with getting the clear for the boss. beaten the boss like 29048234 times and get loot but not the clear.

he's not just not clearing, it takes almost 30 minutes to him to respawn again.

And i heard boss quests are not being completed when you kill him.

Yep, had to kill it two times to get the achievement and the next day, two times to get the daily done.

What I noticed is that I was focusing the dogs when the kill didn't trigger and damaging the boss instead seemed to trigger it. Might be anecdotal

I focused boss so many times, and it never clears. I've tried luring the dogs away. LOL
I havent had any luck either way. But at least I get loot?

Have killed him 3 time in a row still no achievement or credit for the clear. Got the loot of his dead body that's it.

As I mentioned in other thread, here's what I found:

I found, by observing and trying, that one set of ogre tents is too far from boss fight. If you are looking to the throne, its the right ones. The boss fights are done mostly near the throne area. And the Ogres go back near the tents out of combat. And after bosskill they despawn, but not die (they are out of combat). And that probably bugs the fight. Every time when I was killing those lonely ogres (and other trash there) the boss counted. Tested on 4 diferent toons. Hope it helps, but no guaranties, it just a guess :-)

so you need to kill the ogres so the boss wont bug? i heard you had to deal enough dps

I was able to get credit today for this boss by following two pieces of advice from the forums here.

I can’t find the other thread where someone said don’t pick up the documents first, so I waited and did not pick up those until after the battle was over.

I didn’t see any adds on the right side of the boss (I think I was facing north) but there were a few on the left side so I made sure to kill them before the main boss was dead.

So it works on PS4 NA if you do meet these conditions.
