Hi folks,
We are now in early June 2021, proc sets have returned to the great pleasure of some and the displeasure of others. Either way, they are back!
My thoughts regarding performance (proc vs no proc):
It might be too early to tell as we are in week on of the new DLC, but I can give some general feedback from my own experiences
PC EU -> No CP Cyrodill Ravenswatch -> PROC SET DOWN
- Still laggy and honestly not enjoyable after 6pm UTC+1 until 11pm (no changes here in several years)
- No desynchs were felt from my end (from sorcerers, bombers, ball groups -> Things played out fairly normally)
- Fights don't last that long and people are more wary of their health/mitigation (general feeling from fights)
- Ball groups still roaming around (same rules apply as above)
PC EU -> No CP Cyrodill Ravenswatch -> PROC SET UP
- Still laggy and honestly not enjoyable after 6pm UTC+1 until 11pm (Skills no longer firing at this point in fort defence situations with equal opposing numbers +/-)
- Desynchs occur -> You'll die to procs from multiple attackers and won't be able to react as the server doesn't react as fast as you do (or not at all in some cases)
- Fights are longer (mitigation proc sets, healing, speed etc)
- Ball groups are more apparent and I must admit the cross healing and the desynchs from their timed attacks are making the server implode (but is it their fault?)
We are getting used to this situation of PvP performance now as months pass by and it's truly messy. I do hope for improvement for something they are obviously playing with (choices:no proc/proc/crossheals on/off) or simply changing metas to keep us busy.
Either way I enjoy both no proc and proc, but I'm just not enjoying the elephant in the room -> Performance
What are your thoughts guys? Do you hope/desire/demand for a performance upgrade this year? And are there some clear indications/information after the testing our producer has conducted?
(ps: keep it cool, I did)
