It's been years, Could you please remaster the base game?

From bad textures, to npc using paper painted armor, to lots of npcs looking the same, outdated textures on sorcerer conjured monsters.

Also werewolf could use a visual remaster.

I understand apex mounts and expansions are important , but a good looking game helps keep new potential costumers around.

I agree...it actually looks like two different games going from Glenumbra to say Skyrim

I've definitely had the same thought about them remastering old zones to match the beauty of the new zones they continually create. Comparing a Chapter zone to an old, base game zone shows the base game zones lack in almost every criterion. I've seen other games update their old zones, such as Wizard101 updating their first world's look to better suit their new style seen in new worlds.

I hope ZOS gets around to updating some of those old textures, zones, NPCs, or even quests. I don't know if they will do that anytime soon, but maybe they can start small and do it one zone at a time - or, I would even take a skip of a DLC one quarter to see that free update. I actually miss seeing those free updates like in the early part of the game and would not mind them skipping a Dungeon DLC to bring a free update to the game that bring quality-of-life updates, maybe some new stuff, etc.

Yes, this. It sucks, but that's what they said.
I think they should at the very least consider remaking Breton and Bosmer zones once every other race had its first chapter rather than giving Nords, Imperials and Redguards two more chapters and Dunmer and Argonian a second one before Bosmer and Bretons even got their first.

Not really bothered by the way things are now.

I would rather they keep doing what they are now focusing on new zones rather than redoing the existing ones.
