Companion Gear Vanished

I haven't experienced this but a few guildies have. Their companions have suddenly been summoned naked and with out gear and they are not aware of what caused it. I stripped the blue gear off mine but I am wondering how many other people experienced this.

same , equipped a few pieces from bosses yesterday and then when I switched zones it was all gone off my bastian. Sent in a ticket.

It seems to be happening to any player who happens to queue for dungeons and when they come out, the companion goes naked. It happened on the PTS as well and was reported too. I'm holding back on giving them anything above white for the time being, actually I'm selling any blue or purple companion gear I find as they are most valuable now while the hype is fresh and availability is scarce.

yea i looted a purple and blue piece today i think im going to take them off her until this is patched just to be safe.
