Companion Outfit Station and Mount options

I'd like to customize the companions as though it were your character so they can look like a boss too. The outfit station is to use the motifs you know to change their looks. I'd also like an option to set our collectable mounts as an option for them too. Give 2 options set to your mount or set to companion. Override the default mount on the companion and show off 2 mounts at once and give more to play with. Just throwing out ideas to make the game better and more fun. You can set their outfit and their mount and they can be different than the ones you're using. Or am I not understanding the request?

Companions get one outfit slot for us to design them a custom outfit. And we can override their default mount with almost any unlocked mount we own.

Yes! I'm loving these ideas so far. Just something to add flavor and fun.

Sadly though, any outfit is account wide, so you cannot create a different outfit for each character. However, I do believe you can have different outfits per character that isn't account wide.

I don't understand what you're getting at. Each character has slots you can buy and update your looks any time. How does this affect what we're discussing?

I am thinking you believe what the other posters have said were suggestions. They are just telling what is in the game right now.

Companions have an outfit slot (you have to use a “public” outfit station). And you can also override it with a costume if you wish, and dye them in the normal way.

But this modification is account wide, not per character.

Also you can change which mount they are riding as well.

These are not suggestions, just relaying what you can do right now in game.

Just as a follow up, here is bastion in a re-dyed costume (he is a healer).



And here is Mirri, who I made to have a costume match my Dark Elf night blade. (Mirri is on the left, my character on the right.)



I am not in game right now or I would show you that I also changed both of their mounts as well.

You can have individual costumes for each character's companion. What I noticed though is they use your character's color dyes so if both companion and character are wearing the same costume, changing the colors on one of them changes the color on the other as well. Using an outfit is account wide setting, I thought they would be annoying at first but soon realize I can do an over the top appearance, pay for it once, and then set it for every character.

You guys are awesome! everything is already added and I'm just blind and didn't see this was already added as a thing. So excited about it. Great screenshots too!
