How did you guys think this is okay? How can you even have this thought process its insane. So many people camping on nodes for 12+ hours and no lead its pretty sad.

Mystic leads should not be tied to a certain place but rather obtain thru every node, chest, dungeon, etc in the region. Might speed things up after the great nerf patch.

If they want to tide it to water plants/spawns they need to make it drop from more zones and not only one.

haha I see what you did there.

So anyway, I hate this. 8 hours in of manually pressing 'E' every 3-14 minutes, and no drop.

The one up side is that zone chat is invariably entertaining. the resident vocal population appears to be comprised of the following:

35% sweaty players who all know each other, repeatedly flexing by showing off gear/achievements, making inside jokes, and giving each other crap.
35% regular humans repeatedly opining about how this whole thing is awful and speculating that ZOS hates all of us
10% node dwellers complaining about their nodes being sniped
10% snipers trolling the people who got sniped and bragging about how they sniped them
10$ people dropping in to link the kilt and torture the other residents farming the lead

As fun as that is to watch scroll by, it's definitely not 7 hours of fun.

The thing I dislike most about this is it isn't doing what leads are supposed to do.

They were brought in to make players engage in older content, giving it meaning again. Yes, it has populated Shadowfen again, but not for the right reason. It was supposed to help fill older dungeons that weren't on Undaunted. It was supposed to fill up the WBs, Delves, Public Dungeons.

This doesn't do any of that, except artificially populate the area (I use the word artificially because it actually doesn't make the player engage in content, it just makes the zone look full).

I really hope ZoS addresses this soon, as I am at my 14th hour of node camping, and I have spent more time doing this than enjoying the new zone.

So while everyone is camping Shadowfen, spend your time grinding Rock Grove. For the first time since Cloudrest every gear drop is very good. Get your Bahsei's Mania, Saxhleel Champion sets ready and by the time you've done that the nodes will have quietened down a bit and farming the kilt leads won't be so bad. It's no different to the pale order leads in Bad Man Hollow and on that table in Blackreach.
