Ouroboros Crate Rewards

I've been watching the streams to get my ouroboros crates and today I got 4 Crown Mimic Stones- 4! What are the odds of that? I don't know if I want to know that folks got something better or if I have the worst RNG going

Ouroboros Crates only have 2 "Non-Common" rewards, which are as rare as Radiant Apex Mounts.

They're freebie Crates, so you can't expect anything. It's just Gems, Potions, Poisons, etc.

you get 4-6 crowns in items and a chance to get a rare mount that tbh is kinda ugly imo.

I have had 5 Drops Enabled twitches running over this week but only the first one I watched gave out Ouroboros crates (2 of), and the rest have given nothing. Is this how it's supposed to be? Or do most of them save giving the crates to their Twitch friends?

They suck even if you buy a set. I decided to try 30 since I am new on the PC and got nothing of value.

That's not quite true, but very close. They almost universally have white rewards. So many mimic stones.

However, they also contain Crown Food (of some variant, I think bi-stat), crown riding lessons, and some 50% XP scrolls. (Though I'm a little fuzzy on those.)

As for getting something better, I got the pet relatively quickly, (and have gotten it multiple times since), but it took nearly three years to get the mount. So... ugh. Given how active I am on Twitch, I don't even want to know how many crates I opened to get there.

The way drops have been working for the World Plays ESO event has been a max of two crates per week, one for watching any drops enabled stream for a total of one hour and the other for a total of two. Any by watching, you can have the stream running in the background as well. The streamer merely enables it when it is their slot, that's it. You watch then claim through the drop tab on Twitch, which also has info on the number of drops going for a set timeframe.

There may be more drops during Quakecon for watching Bethesda's streams, but I haven't checked the schedule since I can't usually watch during those hours.

With the revamp of how crate drops work max has been 3/week and usually only 2 (from streamers) no matter how many you are watching with drops enabled.

The Bethesda stream crates are separate and since change has been 1 - 3 depending on what's going on.

It's been made as confusing as possible for... reasons

This is exactly why i have never bothered with these crates and never will. Not gonna waste a second of my life watching some dude or dudette playing a game to get absolute garbage. Wouldn't even waste my time creating a twitch account for 4 crystals or poisons.

"For folk saying they're free, what do you expect". I value an hour or how ever long it is of my life at more than 4 inane junk objects.

I did get the Senche of Scarlet Regret mount finally today after years of opening the Ouroboros crates.

They are basically trash party favors. Kinda like zos gives you a sticker and a safety sucker and sends you on your way.

Just remember to convert all of it to gems to buy goodies you want

You have to watch certain streams at certain times.It should be on their stream page https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/streamers ,and twitter posts.Sometimes there's time changes.Also with the world plays thing,it got mixed with quakecon and was showing wrong streams on twitch drop page,since it was Bethesda stream only at certain times to get drops.They really need someone to keep eye and make sure everything is right.
