Add a "Go Here!" hotkey for companions

So you know how we have a hotkey for a companion ulti? Can you add one that will have them go where we point them to?

Like pressing the '6' key creates a teensie little AoE marker wherever we are pointing the mouse, then when we confirm, our companion goes to that location, then stay there until we either issue a new Go Here command, mount, exit combat w/e.

And you could also have a function so that IF we use that Go Here! command while there is an area affect near our companion, they'll automatically dodge roll?

But then someone would be able to solo direfrost keep, and the game designers seem to have a near religious obsession to stopping that and rapidly fixing every single thing someone figures out to use for soloing it.
Too many toons not enough time

Ah this is true. Hopefully as companions are expanded, ZOS embraces the solo nature of the game and allows companions to be more & more useful.

It’s been a long time since I bothered with micromanaging pets, but can you hold Y and left click on a spot to make them move there? I seem to recall being able to do that when I ran a pet sorcerer years ago, and I think companions use the same system.

As far as I know, you can only direct them to attack certain target.

There's no way to make them stand in a specific spot without "tricking" them into it by having an enemy to fight -- and even then that doesn't work too well, because they don't stack up on foes like you'd expect.

Maybe with specific abilities it could work better, but even with the flame whip and a melee weapon, I can't get Bastian to stand right where I want him to literally save his life! :P

There's no better time than now for ZoS to dedicate some resources in improving the pet / buddy list!

I'd love a 'go here' or a 'pull that lever' button.

It'd really help with Basti since a lot of his skills are melee, but I'd prefer he stays out of all of the AoEs while he's trying to cast his fireballs. It'd be great to tell him to run in, drop his ult, and then get back out.

And yes, I'd love to be able to go through Direfrost or ICP with just him, but that pressure pad or lever mechanic is just blocking it all. Also means that an 11-man-1-companion run of AA is out as well.
