Very little documented about this except use Y key for ultimate.
I want to command my companion to eg pull a lever, stand somewhere, stand on a plate. I read you should be able to press Y + left or right mouse click in // but doesn't interact at all.
Companions cannot be used to interact with levers or plates or anything. You can just use the pet commands to order them to attack a specific enemy (Y+LMB the enemy) or call them back (Y+RMB).
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:
Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.
Well it states we should be able to command them to engage / disengage and move. I tried to get one to stand on one of the 2 plates in direfrost so it can be soloed once again. No Luck but a main selling point was assisting in solo/duo dungeons.
from guide: Directing Companions in Combat
While Companions will always attempt to engage in combat when you are attacked, utilizing pet commands allows you to direct the Companion to engage with specific targets or tell them to pull back, respectively. By default, on keyboard and mouse you can do this by holding the “Y” key and left- or right-clicking, or on controller by pressing the L3+R3 buttons along with the left or right bumper.
In addition, performing a heavy attack will also cause your Companion to switch to your target.
Some commands via command line would be useful eg companion sit / stand / runaway /
Looks like a lot of room for improvement till the reality catches up to the hype.
The thing is that if you push Y (or in my case R) + left MB he will fire his ultimate before attacking....... UNBELIEVABLE

How do you have a companion have tank builds without commands like /attack target? This dose not seem thought out but just slapped on last min thought.
