Why is PC Launcher Still Tiny?

I can barely read the text on the launcher screen for the PC version and I noticed that a thread here in 2015 complained about the same thing. ZoS said they were "looking into it" then.

Why isn't this fixed already? The chat area is also fairly tiny by default, with the max available font not very large. How could something like this not be fixed in 6 years?

Yeah, I know I could use the Magnifier app, but that is a real pain to use just to read a single screen/app since it requires navigating around without knowing what all is visible. Letting me make the launch screen larger would be far easier and is something that could easily have been done in 6 years!

There is custom UI scaling in the ESO Settings, and there is also scaling in Windows. If you have a QHD - or higher - resolution with a <27in. screen, it would be a good idea to set Windows to a higher Scaling, as well as ESO ui scaling.

I have a 32" UHD primary display that I have Windows Scaling set to 175%, and I have the UI scaling default in ESO. This works fine for me, since I sit about 28-30 inches away from my displays.

You could try this from an old thread.

1. Right click on the file named "Bethesda.net_Launcher"(this file can usually be found at "Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher".
2. Click "Properties".
3. Click "compatibility".
4. Click "change high DPI settings".
5. Click "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and change it to "System".
6. Click "OK".
7. Click "Apply" and then "OK".

As Malkiv said, if you right-click on the launcher icon and click on Porperties, on the Compatibility tab there will be a "Change Hight DPI Scaling" where you can adjust that to your liking.

(Also, you can by-pass the launcher outside of patch days and create a shortcut to the game EXE instead.)

I do have a larger curved 34 inch monitor, but I am running it on an older 24 inch monitor now, at 1920x1200. I think I set some kind of scaling, but it is unacceptably small on this montior.

Why have they not allowed us to make it MUCH bigger in 6 years?

Still a bit small, but better. They are not unique, but they need to allow this to be even larger.

Yeh I play on a 4k 55 inch TV. Launcher is the size of a postcard and totally unreadable

But they are still looking into it!
