This seems to be overlooked, but could you add Companion's Ultimate to Keybinds next update? I don't want it stuck as Left and Right stick Press for gamepad mode, its kind of a nuisance.

    Hi @phaneub17_ESO

Check in Controls --> Keybindings --> Combat --> Command Pet (the last one, as showed in screenshots)

I think that the ultimate should have it's own keybind. How am I meant to make my pet/companions attack a specific target without the ultimate going off too? My companion doesn't have ultimate yet as she is still only level 15 or so but it does say in white text in the corner "Mirri Elendis does not have an ultimate ability slotted" every time I make her go to attack a specific mob.

in the 8 years ive played this game ive always found it more reliable to use a heavy attack to tell the NPC where to target instead of the key lol

i also personally just let the companion use the ult whenever its charged, because theres so many things that reset companion ult to 0
    plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I also play controller (on PC). Heavy attack won’t work for me with daggers on a one bar build. I like to send Isobel (tank) in first to get taunt/aggro on boss. Your comment on “letting the companion use ultimate when charged” is a setting in options? Then they just do it without you using l-r thumb stick? My Isobel isn’t leveled enough for an ult yet but have been wondering how I will do that.

that makes sense if you want them to take the alpha aggro, but the button has never worked for me personally, i never noticed it doing anything lol

and yes there is a setting in the options to change the companions ult from using it when available or manually telling them to use it

Thanks. I’ll find that setting. The left/right stick press down + right trigger attack/left trigger disengage has been working well for me so far. She actually holds taunt pretty well but is too low level to survive long.
