Screen Flickers

Downloaded patch, opened game. Screen flickers every few seconds. Anyone else had this?

I should also mention, it only happens when im in the game. The login screen, character select screen and loading screens are fine.

Are you using reshade by any chance?

Im not no.

This turned out to be an addon issue. Which addon im not sure has i turned them all off except for advanced ui.

Had this too. Solved it by turning addon for adaptive video settings off.

This may/may not help you but just putting it out there in case it does.

Votans adaptive ones seems a cause, yes.

I've had that problem since Flames of Ambition. The only "fix" was not using whatever window mode caused it and switching to another. For me it is fullscreen instead of windowed/windowed full screen.

If I don't play in fullscreen it flashes terribly and stutters.

"Touch Occlusion" of "Adaptive Settings" causing a brief loading screen. Turn it off.

Worked like a charm, thank you. Thought it was reshade causing the issues

If you mean why the "allow out-of-date add-ons" option was removed, my understanding is that they're now always allowed.
