I don't quite like the controls as much, but I am hoping I get used to that.
The biggest thing is that I almost get motion sickness from the character movement. Any way to smooth that out?

The thing about PC controls you can always change the keybinds on Keyboard, Mouse, AND Controller to how you like it.

Like...your frame rate is almost too high? Or is your frame rate over 100 but your monitor's refresh rate locked at 60hz? We need more details on what exactly isn't smooth. Do you mean your frame rate is dipping too low, so the game feels like a slideshow? We need more info.

It is just a tall learning curve!
Right now I am trying to figure out how to tie the Antiquarian Eye to a quickslot, of directly to an unused key for that matter.Goregrinder wrote: »FlopsyPrince wrote: »So I finally spent the non-inconsequential sum to pre-buy the next expansion on the PC after playing on the PS4 for years.

My monitor is at 50Hz, but I don't see any frame rate adjustment. Probably buried somewhere, but far too many settings to easily navigate new.

You can either lock your framerate by either turning on Vsync (which syncs your FPS to your monitor refresh rate) or you can go into your video card control panel and set the frame cap. It's not the same as Vsync, because imposing a frame cap simply limits the number of frames per second without any regard to syncing to refresh rate multiples if you drop below the maximum refresh rate.

Is vsync in the game or the OS?
(I don't use controller so no idea about that but with kb & mouse:)
Press i for inventory q quickslots, Antiquarians Eye is under Tools tab in slottable items.
As for motion sickness and jerkiness, esc, Settings, Camera gives some options to try. Eliminate head bobbing and screen shakes and try decreasing your FOV (and gradually increasing it to 130 while you get used to it). I you are playing with a potato (like I am) try Video settings and turn Shadows, Reflections, Ambient Occlusion Depth of Field, Bloom &cet tinsel off and decrease Maximum Particle systems and if that's not enough try other Video settings to increase performance and eliminate frame rate dips.
A suggestion for the camera settings is to reduce the rotation speed, I've got mine set at 50 for 3rd person view.
It sounds like you have a low framerate. You can display it by going to Settings, Interface and right at the bottom is a section called Performance. Click the Framerate on and it will appear on screen at bottom left while you are playing. Anything under 30 could make it seem jerky.

I only see "Use Custom Scale" with a Custom Scale bar under INTERFACE.
