Can I still get Blackwoods pre order bonuses after release?

As title says. I like the outfit style it has but idk if I can pre order it in time.

The pre-order and collectors edition items usually come bundled as a pack you can get in the Crown Store afterwards, but it's only released once the Chapter goes DLC - so a year afterwards. Morrowind, Summerset, and now Elsweyr all made the collectors/pre-order bonuses available that way. I'd expect soon after Blackwood's release, we'll also see the Greymoor collector bundle in the Crown Store was well.

Not a guarantee at all, but it is a safe bet that the pre-order items will come back in a bundle sometime around June/July 2022.

Yes, the Dremora Kynreeve Outfit is only available with a pre-purchase of Blackwood. It is not included in the Collector's Edition after launch.

Hello @PandaPalace, pre-purchase rewards for Blackwood are only available prior to the Blackwood release date of June 1st on PC/Mac/Stadia and June 8th for XBox and PlayStation.

I would say... yes... because I have the collectors edition of Greymoor, which I purchased after it came out, and I have the Mammoth. Key word: Collectors Edition

You confuse the pre-order goodies with collector's edition goodies. The first are only available before the release. Collector's edition is still available after release: for one year you can get the collector's edition from steam or any other digital store, after the release of the following year's chapter, you can get it for 2100 crowns from the crown store. For example, right now you can only buy Greymoor collector's edition via steam or other digital stores. But in June, Greymoor collector's edition will become available in the crown store.

Most of the preorder bonuses for former chapters are included alongside the collector’s edition bonuses in the “collector’s” pack.

But the preorder incentive mounts are typically not: the Rad-m’Athra mount is not included in the Elsweyr upgrade pack, for example, and the Nightmare Senche is not in the Summerset upgrade pack.

Based on that pattern, neither the bear cub nor the welwa mount would be included in the equivalent pack for Blackwood when that releases a year or more from now.

That's my understanding too. The majority of pre-order items are included in the collector's edition packs on the crown store, but the mounts are missing.

On that basis I decided to pre-order Blackwood to make sure I got the welwa mount.

The admin responses in green seem to contradict what steam is advertising - the description for the collectors edition upgrade clearly says:

“ All pre-purchase bonus content included in the Collection”

So which is it - is steam wrong and/or falsely advertising? Or the admins answers here correct re:

The Collection is different than the Collector’s Edition, which may be contributing to the confusion here.

ETA: Steam should not be including information about the Collection under the Collector's Edition of Blackwood itself. ZOS is responsible for the lookalike (and therefore easily confused) terminology of Collection vs. Collector's Edition, but Steam is responsible for parsing it properly and ensuring that only the relevant information is included for each specific product.

Both are correct and the admin response doesn't contract Steam; note the second admin response. Blackwood hasn't released yet. We're still in the pre-order period. Obviously, you won't be able to pre-order something after it has released.
