Stay inside the aoe circle to catch the mudcrab in the air and you gain an ally. Avoid the aoe circle and you gain an extra enemy.

Funny thing is - they sometimes attack you.
But sometimes, they side with you for being thrown around!
(Some people pointed out that this happens if you dodge or block the initial attack of the crab.)

Similarly, some adult wasps may sting you, injecting their eggs. Soon after, a young wasp joins you for a short period of time, helping you in battle, too.

I've had the little wasps hang with me before, a few times in the past, but I've never seen them fight along side me while they've been hanging out.

And I know I've aggro'd while they were still spawned. hmmmm

Definitely gonna pay attention next time that plays out. Neat!

And the river trolls throwing mudcrabs is a trip. Never dodge... gain a snippy pal. haha

Yes remember first time that crab helped me I could not believe my eyes. Found some other river trolls to see it again

Another weird part is that the crab and the baby wasp count as combat pets and proc necropotense set

Ok, thats funny. You can also shield them with sorc pet shield.

The little wasps think you’re their mom (or dad). But if you get in a fight when they are babies, they’ll often get killed. If they survive long enough to grow up, they seem to either wonder off or turn into adult wasp enemies and attack you. It’s pretty cool!

I didn’t know about the mud crab allies, though...must check that out.

If you block the mudcrab will attack the troll instead
