So if you'd start maintenance around 7-8 AM in Europe, this means most of America gets a full afternoon/evening but an early night for some states and Europe gets an evening/night. So both sides of the pond get a bit of an evening. Am I wrong? Am I wrong?
Chill out Walter!
LOL. Not gonna happen. ZOS can take the server down at anytime for reasons like maintenance. Pretty sure that's covered in one of those things we had to check the Agree box for in order to play this game.
I just wish they wouldn't advertise events as being X days long when one of those days is the regular maintenance day.

Maintenance is done on a schedule convenient for the people doing the maintenance.

When they just raised the usable CP cap to 3600, and the main bonus of this event is double xp, yes - it is a real event.
If you want to say you value tickets so much that anything that doesn't offer tickets is not a real event, ok fine.
But you would be an incredibly small minority vs those used to be 810/810 capped and therefore had 100% of all usable CP advantage, vs now chasing CP again.
By any reasonable standard, the best part of any current and future event for some time will be the xp bonus.
