If you look at the map of Cyrodiil from Oblivion, the only place you could go by traveling east would be the PvP zone of Cyrodiil.

No, it should go to an area between the Gold Coast and Cyrodiil zones of ESO, as you can see by zooming the map out to view all of Tamriel. Skingrad would be in that region, I think.
On PTS gate in Shadowfen actually leads to new Blackwood zone. And from there you can go to Elsweyr zone through another gate.SeaGtGruff wrote: »There are gates that don't go anywhere yet:

So with the new patch it's finally possible to run around Reaper's March -> Malabal Tor -> Greenshade -> Grahtwood -> Northern Elsweyr -> Blackwood -> Shadowfen -> Deshaan -> Stonefalls -> The Rift -> Eastmarch without having to use wayshrines to skip missing bits of map. Could even add checkpoints in Murkmire. Should make for some nice orienteering races
Hopefully in another couple of years Central Skyrim and Hammerfell will be filled in and we'll finally be able to do a round Tamriel orienteering challenge.

This is the one: https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Varen's_Wall_Gatehouse
Also there is plenty of space between the Gold Coast zone, and the Cyrodiil PVP area: https://esomap.uesp.net

I didn't find that map and since the game is on maint I couldn't be bothered looking for it. My mistake, I had the Oblivion map in my head as I've stared at it so many times lol. The ESO map is completely off compared to that.

The space would be incredibly small.
Once we will be able to run around Tamriel in circles, I am sure some one will come up with some kind of "Dakar" style "Tour The Tamriel" Endurance mount racingSo with the new patch it's finally possible to run around Reaper's March -> Malabal Tor -> Greenshade -> Grahtwood -> Northern Elsweyr -> Blackwood -> Shadowfen -> Deshaan -> Stonefalls -> The Rift -> Eastmarch without having to use wayshrines to skip missing bits of map.
