regarding hirelings for crafting...

so if i have all the hireling skills on all my main and alts, do i have to log in to each character to redeem the the mats or i can just log in to whatever character and redeem the mail???

Each character gets their own mats mailed to them.

You have to logon on the character to get the mail to pop. Once it does you can collect if from any character.

I think a lot of us do writs every day on the toons with the hirelings everyday so we're logging in to them regardless. Doing max level writs on as many toons as you can bothered with is the simplest way to get rich in ESO.

Maxed out you have to log into each character every 12hours to claim them (and probably zone each as well, as the server is never in a hurry to mail anything)

I've only ever had to zone for mail coming from traders. The hireling mails come during the daily writ process, for me anyway.

my 1st set of the day unsually do, the 12hrs later ones not so often before a zone (if I do log 12hrs apart)

Even doing daily writs it is often 2 chars worth on a character - ie mail turns up on chars 1 3 5 7 etc but all the mail turns up...

Oh, I got ya. My sessions don't last that long. For me it's once a day. lol

Ironically, the twice a day Hireling just means you get the mail the one time you log to each alt.






Due Logging Lag, you are constantly chasing the clock to get mailings. This means if your set for once a day mailings, you cant log on each day at say, 6 PM, and get your mailings.

I never knew I could get them twice a day until I logged in to check for trader mail before bed one night and found some in my mail. But I don't care enough to do that every day, so I'll just take the ones I get when I first log on.
