Issue with character creation - dark mark on face?

So I'm trying to create a new toon, and regardless of what settings I have on the sliders, I see this:


He's got this dark streak across the bride of his nose and going down his cheek, like he put on warpaint a while back and just forgot to wash it off. I have no face markings, nothing that would've put it there. I've messed with each and every slider on the face, and nothing's gotten rid of it. So how do I remove it?

Have you tried letting the game load him (after you save the sliders just in case), to see if it's gone in game? I can't remember ever seeing anything like that....

That just appears to be the male look. Consider playing a female.

None of them have a huge dark blotch like Jack's does.

Have you tried giving him a bath?

It's just that Imperials are ugly.
No seriously, this is what their noses look like.

Your Breton and Redguard look fantastic! I can never quite get my male characters to look right once they leave the character creation. It's like:




As for the problem, it looks to me like the game is trying to apply a warpaint even when there isn't one selected. It might just be the lighting, but it looks like there's marks by the corner of the eyes as well.

Thank you! LOVE the comic strip! Oh so true....

I save the sliders before entering game. And then.... if the character isn't "right" I delete it and start over, but I have the sliders from the first attempt. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Mak (the Redguard) took me probably 20 attempts.....
