How about group dependent NMA 5th piece?

tldr: RotPO has group size condition in U30, why not unnerf NMA 5th effect if it was nerfed due to big group sustain against cost increase


They've decided to make Ring of the Pale Order heal depend on the number of group members in Update 30.
And New Moon Acolyte's 5th piece was nerfed because in large groups, especially in trial groups the 5% cost increase didn't really mean much, this nerf hit solo players (pvp or pve) much harder than trial players.

I've been wondering at the time why they didn't make the 5th bonus depend on the number of group members but chalked it up to the server check reduction project. But now that they are adding it to RotPO, why not just unnerf NMA and add a conditional nerf that makes 5th piece weaker for grouped players based on the number of people in the group?

    Just to try to understand, what NMA nerf are you talking about? The 80 spell damage reduction, in 2020?

    @miteba Can't remember the exact amount, but I guess it was that. With group dependent bonuses they could rebalance this set, either by lowering the 5th piece bonus or increasing the cost increase percentage for grouped players, maybe even up the solo player 5th bonus above the original value.
    They must've found a solution to cache the group member count to introduce this function to such a popular item as RotPO, all the server checks would be crazy otherwise.
