How to start to MMO side of the game?

Hello guys!
ESO is my first MMO even first multiplayer game, I even do not know mechanics of an MMO before ESO, I started ESO because I am a great fan of Elder Scrolls games and lore. I am playing on Xbox Series S on EU megaserver, I am CP82, I have played the game 217 hours, I bet alliance story, main story, Mage guild story, Morrowind, Clockwork City, Summerset, Elsweyr, Dragonhold, Greymoor and Markarth. But I played all my experience as solo like a single player TES game, I really liked the game, especially its quests, story and lore, BUT I have not experienced this game's MMO side. How can I experience it? I can not voice chat, I have two little babies I play the game while nearly the tv is muted. How can I experience PvE and PvP content? Do I need to find friends for them or can the game match automatically? I tried a daily quest in Clockwork City yesterday I could not beat it, I think It was a PvE content needed doing multiplayer. I am so ignorant about MMOs even all multiplayer games, my only multiplayer experience was playing Counter Strike on LAN in an internet cafe with my classmates one or two times when I was a kid. Please help me!

The entire main game is simplified PVE MMORPG. Any player can help you with a quest, boss, or world event without grouping with them.

Undaunted dailies in the capital cities serve basically as an introduction to instanced group PVE content.

Battlegrounds, accessible from the activity finder, serve as introductory PVP combat.

    Use the guild finder.
"Speak" in spatial. As in say, "Hi."
Join groups when invited. Chat, even if it is only text, to group members. Let them know you are looking for a Guild.

    This is an amazing game.
I play on PC. NA. I would be there for you but...

    Really, just try, "Hello."
Fairy Tales Really Do Come True...Kinda.

Chat with people. You don't need a mic. Just type it. Use Zone chat for stuff like help with dailies. Use the activity finder for dungeons and Battlegrounds. And find a guild to help you navigate everything. Look for one that's newcomer friendly.

I would recommend joining a good guild, first off. You can use a USB keyboard to type quickly in chat and communicate, and see what happens from there. But the MMO aspect is all about other people of course, so socialization is a good place to begin.

Do the consoles have text chat in game? I was thinking they didn't? You need to join a newby friendly guild but you're going to have to communicate somehow. This is my first mmo too and I have learned to really like random dungeons and trials with guildies. Plus, on guild chat, it's great to say "can anybody help me with this world boss". Good luck and have fun!

You chose the best MMORPG around! First of all wow, how did you beat all of this content in just 200h?! Hopefully you mean just the MQ and not the side quests... It takes 1-2 days to fully finish a zone (while actually reading or hearing what the NPCs say). Note that you can also experience the other two alliance zones, as well as related DLC and Coldharbour. All of these comprise the single-player aspect that you are most familiar with.

As for the MMO aspects of the game, it revolves around group activities: instanced dungeons, arenas, and trials. For dungeons you can use the Activity Finder to queue as a role (maybe try as dd) and take the undaunted pledges from your capital city. Random dungeons yield sweet exp once per day. For arenas and trials chill in the group zone, Craglorn, and check chat for calls (you'll need to learn the abbreviations, e.g. "CR" means "Cloudrest trial", "LFM 2DD" means "looking for two more damage dealers", etc). Note that the level cap for armor is CP 160, you still have some way to go. Do a daily random dungeon and you'll hit it in no time.

The other main part of playing an MMO is the economy and farming. Not just farming CP (which you can get thousands of) but also materials and rare items. You can accumulate rare items from public dungeons or the overworld or even craft them, and then sell them to other players. You can either sell/buy from zone chat or just join a trader guild. You can accumulate wealth to unlock other parts of the game, such as housing and crafting motifs or OP gear for yourself.

Lastly, you can participate in social activities. You can make new friends (I've met lots of nice people while fishing), join a social guild, or role-play. And of course, there's heaps of player-vs-player in Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds, also found in the Activity Finder or the Alliance War tabs! If you have friends, running group or pvp content becomes much more fun!

Other players are needed mainly for:
    • Group dungeons.
    • Trials (but don't even think of doing them until you're comfortable in group dungeons.
    • World bosses (especially in the DLC zones, where the world bosses are typically a lot tougher than in the base game).
    • PvP.

The advice for one of group dungeons, world bosses and PvP would vary greatly from the advice for the others.

Yes. You have to enable it in your options. Options > Social, iirc
