ZOS should add 4 more companions, one for each past chapter and one for each class

Some of the DK skills and nightblade skills are now useable by other class players through companion
It make sense that ZOS should try to roll out at least one companion for each class asap to make things even

And companions shouldn't be a blackwood exclusive thing
(I mean sure, companions can be "the thing" for blackwood chapter, but it should not be required that to get a companion you have to play blackwood story line)
Past chapters should have companions as reward for progressing these storylines (again ZOS can make them unlockable only if you have blackwood chapter, I have no objection on that)

I'm sure that more will be coming - wouldn't be surprised if there was a third in the Q4 DLC.

I think they also mentioned during one of the streams that they would make more depending on how well these are received.

I'm expecting them to do 2 every 6 months next will be Templar and Sorcerer in Q4 this year, then Warden and Necromancer in Q2 of next year, and top it off with a Werewolf and Vampire in Q4 of next year. 2023 will be a new class again.

1st: companion skills are watered down versions of character skills so doesn’t really give the same effect. So no you don’t get access to another class.

2: it’s going to be apart of the Blackwood chapter because it’s out and said about it, way too late to back tract on that.

3: more companions are going to come. To a crown store near you!!! -insert tv show jingle- In truth more companions are going to come, other classes for sure, even some of the same classes but with different skills than the others, so it’s not a copy paste job/mix it up a little. Might come free with a chapter or story dlc you never know.

4: do like your idea of having older chapters have a companion linked to them.

Having only 2 companions in the new zone is like Greymoor only having antiquities in western skyrim and nowhere else.

Really disappointed tbh, what they should had done is add companions to every zone to date like antiquities.

They said they wanted to see how the companion system worked with a reasonably modest start. If it goes okay, I'd expect the gradual introduction of tweaks/improvements, more companions and more features (they mentioned considering romance for example).

My view at this point is to take an optimistic view of their prudent choice to open modestly until they see how things go and work out the inevitable challenges.
