Sovngard Pets/Mounts Flickering Effect?

Anyone else having an issue with the Sovngard pets and mounts glowy aura effect flickering like a strobe light? It doesn't seem to matter what my video settings are on, the wierd flashing is the same. Instead of a smoothly shifting glowy mist, mine look like there's one of those strobe light fireworks going on behind them making the golden whisps flash frantically. Has anyone found a setting that will help minimize this? It does this both in the character select screen and in game. I've seen youtube videos of other people's sovngard animals and their effects are normally animated. I'm stumped as to what's going on with that particular effect on my computer. I haven't noticed this problem with any other special effects in the game.
