1H and Shield with Puncture

Hi!
Running 1H&S which is fun and been trying Puncture and Light Attacks for single targets.
Puncture is a cheap on stam and since the opponent is being breached, I assume my LA will do more damage.
Puncture is half of low slash
Thinking of running Knight Errants Mail to get more damage with the poke.
I am thinking that little heal will also add up, so I can last with the poke n hack.
(and yes, will mix it up with the jabs and bashes)

For animation canceling though - it seem I am going more puncture than LA.
Like poke poke poke, LA.
Using a game controller on a PC (Y puncture, RT for LA)

Does AC work better with keyboard or controller?

Generally pierce armor has half the damage of stamina spammables, low slash deals a bit more but still on the weaker side, if you are dead set on s/b dps, your best spammable choice will be power bash.

For solo play I would 100% use pierce armor for the debuffs (once) and them for the next 15 seconds just power bash(the skill) the heck out of everything

Keep in mind puncture is a taunt, used by tanks to hold enemy agro. So if you go into group content as any role other than a tank and start using puncture you'll be seen as disruptive to the group, and very possibly get kicked.

Depending on the content of course but if you're questing and run into a lot of small groups of standard mobs than the area damage of Deep Slash (Low Slash morph) will probably work beter/faster than Power Bash.

The bashing is a solid idea, puncture first, same with low slash. going to play around...

The only thing that is good about a knock back in 1:1 - I can power bash the target...
