Pet focused set suggestion

Beast Master:

Set bonus
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) Adds 1200 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage to your pets.

I set the amount so high as pets only make up a small amount of damage on any given build and it would do nothing for your other skills. I did the math and even 800 Weapon and Spell Damage was a DPS loss hence my decision to have it so high. However, having it grant both weapon and spell damage would allow a stam toon to run matriarch and a mag toon to run the clannfear if they wanted.

    I like the idea but pets are not affected by weapon or spell dmg buffs. There already is a percentage buff so a value buff could be interesting.

    For example, pets deal an extra X amount of dmg.

    I like the idea but pets are not affected by weapon or spell dmg buffs. There already is a percentage buff so a value buff could be interesting.

    For example, pets deal an extra X amount of dmg.

    Mate they changed over a year ago, pets scale from spell dmg too now days...

    This is correct, and yes they benefit from Major Brutality/Sorcery.

    1200 dmg? Seriously?

    I am running Kvatch Gladiator on my NB and in both PvE & PvP it is already murderous (of course if you are going for the weakest link), so giving your pets 1200 dmg to standard attack is some creepy power-leveling fantasy.

    Maybe 300-600 bonus could be considered as fair, but only if the ~600 would be available to pets (not caster) only.

    But still, even then, when you will take into consideration Blasty, then such set would be broken AF.

    I had not considered Blastbones. The fly in the ointment for any serious pet damage buff sets. I honestly think that skill should be reworked.

    Maybe a stamina alternative to Maw of the Infernal set instead?

    1 Piece: Increase Weapon Damage by 129
    2 Piece: When one of your pets deals damage, a spirit of a fallen dire wolf is summoned to fight alongside it for 15 seconds. The spirit deals 1500 Physical Damage every second. This effect can occur every 20 seconds.
