Hello,
thanks to Zenimax for access to their forums. First i would like to say that i love The Elder Scrolls Online, yet i would like to talk about a general issue about what is possible to play solo and what is not.
When a new story DLC is being released, the new content often is unsoloable due to a higher difficulty. As like elite bosses on the world map beside real world bosses. I believe this content should be soloable, and the difficulty should scale based on the number of participants in the fight.
Currently, some content, as like a few dungeons and trials need a group. Getting the companion system in Blackwood, i would like to ask to balance that kind of content to be doable by 1-12 players, allowing solo players and any kind of group size to play the endgame content. As bigger as the group is, as more loot should drop. Quality of the loot should stay the same, just with way less opportunities to get the gear. Trials and group dungeons should be scaled based on group size, starting at one player plus one companion. Alternatively, the players should be able to hire more companions for trials, and be allowed to master that content on a scaled difficulty as well.
Contrary to the belief, a MMORPG should always be about organized groups, i think that in special an Elder Scrolls game should always address solo players to its full extent, with all content available, yet, ESO itself to offer the option to build groups without locking out solo players.
Thank you and have a nice day.
