New forum code problems: flickering, shaking.

Whatever code is running on the current version of these forums has completely broken my ability to browse on Firefox (latest version). Basically, the banner at the top keeps sliding down and back up rapidly forever. Also, the code that handles formatting to screen size appears to be not sticking, and constantly jiggling the screen so that it looks like the window is sitting on a vibrating motor.

EDIT: Also the "We Value Your Privacy" window behaves like the top banner and will not go away. It also constantly takes attention away from your active focus so you end up typing things and them not showing up because you lost focus without realizing it.

I have to use NoScript to block the whole page from loading scripts just to read the forums, which causes me to be unable to click any of the reaction buttons, all spoiler and quote formatting to be broken and generally, is a total mess. I can't imagine I am the only one experiencing this, but there is no section devoted to forum bugs so I thought I might as well post my total frustration with this latest forum.

did you try using chrome?
works fine on mine...

Hmm. Looks fine on my Firefox (Mac, FF 87.0)

edit: ah, I have an update to install. Who knows what'll happen, then?

edit2: hmm, looks the same.

It appears to be the Font Fingerprint Defender addon that causes the incompatibility.

That being the case, I still believe there is something in the forum code triggering that incompatibility.

The forums have been bad since the last update last year.

Make sure you don't have the site zoomed in on your browser. Not sure what the deal is, but if I look at it at anything but 100% zoom, it freaks out.
