There are cheats in the game, and there's nothing you can do about it, because ZOS does not take cheating seriously.

I'd guess some combination of detection radius increase passives and detect pots. After a while you also get a feel for how another NB moves and thinks (and there aren't a lot of options for leaving a spawn point). But the only way to know is ask him.

I put him on ignore and went about my business. I was playing another match and I was completely stealthed out at some random place on the way to the flag. This guy knew exactly where i was but i couldn't see him, even though i was stealth. I said ok this is a fluke, he used no ability or gave me any indication he was using an ability. He did it again, no matter where i went he found me even if i was stealthed. Anyways. This dude followed me back to the spawn and was stealth, he would gank me everytime i came out, even though i tried two different exits using stealth. He spawn camped me the whole match and I couldn't even leave 5 foot from the base. Then started teabagging me. Is there any counter to this kind of stuff? what should i do. I use the ability camo hunter to try and locate him but he 100% always got the drop of me first.

There is a cheat in the game that let's people do this. I had someone do it to me the other day as well (might even be the same guy). Cheating is starting to get more rampant than usual in PvP lately I have started to notice. I encountered a premade using some kind of cheat to circumvent and dominate the solo battlegrounds the other day too. One of them would literally pick me up in the air and levitate me around the arena like he had force telekinesis (no I am not kidding).
Best you can do is report them and hope ZoS does something.

ZOS is bad about ignoring in-game reports, but I've always heard back from them when I report issues through the website. Just make sure you respond to the automated email you receive with something like, "Yes, I still want you to look into this" because your ticket will be deleted if you don't respond within a certain amount of time.

can you explain to me which ones? He was a khajiit like me and I can't find stealth radius increase passives. I also have fully maxxed feline amush.

I was thinking Wood Elf, guess not.
Detect pots give +20 meters of stealth detection. You should carry some yourself, they're more useful than detection abilities. Some nightblades like to hunt nightblades, this won't be the last time it happens.

ok. i haven't actually confirmed pets tracking players in stealth, but it seems pretty consistent. similar to cloaking to flank a npc only for it to turn toward you
Spartycuss wrote: »also is there anyway for zos to implement something that keeps us outta groups with people we have ignored?

thanks i'll report him, but I also would like to know how to counter this if it wasn't a hack. He didn't use mage light, or piercing mark, or camo hunter on me. But i'm not sure about stealth detect potions. Also no passive I see can increase stealth detection radius for a khajiit. Also CP is disabled in battlegrounds, so no go there. If he is playing legit i wanna know how i'm getting my butt kicked so I can overcome this if it happens again.

but pvp has alot more immature toxic people in my experience with the game. thats why i rarely play bg. i dont even do the daily. id rather have fun than get that daily benefit
