Why can't this game even run?

Was doing the undaunted. Fungal grotto 2 to be specific. Running PS NA servers. Made it to the spawn of mephala. Running with randoms but we're all high level. My team got her down to about 30% and then the game crashes. Completely disconnected and sent me back to my ps4 home screen. I report the crash as I do whenever this game crashes, and load it back up hoping that I wasn't kicked from the group. Load it back up, get in and I'm not kicked. The boss is dead though and I discover that IT DID NOT COUNT FOR ME!!! This boss is required to clear the undaunted and because the game crashed, I don't get credit for the kill. I helped take off 70% of it's health and it doesn't count!?!?!?!?!? Through no fault of my own, the game just randomly crashed and now I have to re-run this whole dungeon. Can somebody, ANYBODY please do something to make this game at least somewhat functional?
