Why did ESO charge my card 5 days before it was set to auto-renewal?

I had everything set up, The start was supposed to be 4/29, and I didn't have to worry about ESO Plus until I got paid.
Except I get a message from my bank TODAY about the charge, and look to see that the renewal doesnt even start till the 30th.
Why did you charge me early for auto-renewal? Why did you start 5 days before I even needed to auto-renew?
I will NEVER auto-renew from now on because I can't count on when it decides to take the money out.
