That's why I added 'even more'.
The thing is, the "transfer from PC to console" was to a blank database before the servers opened.
And that created issues already, that most newer players don't know about, like guilds on PC "loaning" console transfers millions of gold before the cut off.
If ZOS decided so offer transfers, there are a number of ways they could do that, and each single approach will leave a part of the playerbase unhappy. But they would have to develop a brand new system rather than do it the way they did at console launch.
Do you like bots?
Because that's how you get (even more) bots.
Ouch, you've made some good points, still, the bots issue should be addressed regardless of the game's tag price. Moreover, according to the logic free = more immature players, PC should be ridden with that kind of people since you can buy base ESO for so low that even a 10 years old could afford it, is that the case?

So yeah, if you want this whale to leave, that's how to handle it.

Same here, plus sooner or later they become P2W through the cash shop.
It would be a commercial disaster for ZOS, the present business model gives them excellent subscription revenue and a steady or growing playerbase that is only just sustainable. A mass influx if it went F2P would wreck the servers and require huge investment in the game's infrastructure, with all the subscription revenue lost.

I am confused... are you trying to convince people that ESO is not F2P, or trying to convince people that it is?

ESO is B2P with an optional subscription. I thought we were both saying we wouldn't want it to go F2P. Which part of our comments suggested otherwise?
