I been member since day 1 ESO come to PlayStation and only reason i still pay is for craftbag, now its gone soon 1 week with a useless craftbag. And still no info when it will be fixed,

so my Question is why should i still pay for something not working ? Or is time for stop pay for a game i feel should had beta title with all error and bugs and lag this game had all years and after evry time its mainteance or update i think and i know many do. What went wrong this time

cancelled after no cp scaling in u29... no plans to resub. reason was craftbag plus storylines.

I used to pay for ESO+ to access DLC zones, but eventually collected them all from the crown stipends. Then it was just so I could collect all the skill points for every character from dlc dungeons. Now I only take up a month's sub when I need it.

I've subscribed on my original account since PC launch, adding a second account shortly afterwards which I also subscribe for, and I do so because I love the game and want to support it. I'm not interested in competitive PvP or PvE and on that basis have had no significant performance or other issues since I started. The ESO+ package is a good one and for me it's not simply about the crafting bag. I use the free crowns mainly to buy houses as I'm not a trader and so can't afford to buy them with gold. I benefit from the DLCs as well as the increased storage space etc. For me it's a no-brainer and I subscribe on a 6 monthly basis.

Craftbag is a significant reason, yes. But also, furnishing limit, bank and inventory increase, ability to dye costumes (really this one comes second after the crafting bag), unlimited DLC access.

I figure that if I want to keep playing a game that I enjoy, I'll support it financially. It really is that simple.

Things break. Things also get fixed. While some people get short-term value in Recreational Outrage (tm), it is fair to note that important features like the craft bag's functionality are at the top of their list.

I have ESO+ to support the game I love.
    PC - NA - AD
    started April 2015
    PVE & Solo only

Meet the LOST family: CP 1250+
Easily Lost Crafter - lvl 50 - Sorcerer Orc ( knows all traits and most styles )
    Easily Lost-W - lvl 50 - Warden Imperial
Forever Lost - lvl 50 Sorcerer

CROWN CRATES: It doesn't affect gameplay, it's not mandatory, it's cosmetic only. If it helps to support the game and ZOS, I support it! Say YES to crown crates.

Because I always pay for a game I enjoy. The other two MMOs I played were sub based (WoW and RIFT); I consider a sub part of keeping the game going, so when I got here, I subbed automatically. Since I have no problems at all with this game (not an endgame or pvp'er, not competitive ever), I'm still happy to be here, play here and pay here. I also buy more crowns when on sale, and I really like buying a few crates when it's a season I like. Not really much into the Wild Hunt ones, but the Ayleid ones are great.

The craft bag is nice, but it's not essential to me. Yes, I craft - but if I didn't have the bag, I'd still craft because I have so many characters who could be "extra bag space". Double furnishing limit is more important, and the access to DLCs as well.

I use to subscribe for the craftbag mostly but I stopped awhile ago. Game still feels like beta with the never ending stream of major changes every three months and bug after bug after bug that never get fixed. Not to mention after years of promises and "performance improvements", cyrodil is still the laggy, broken mess it's always been with no end in sight. I still play casually cause I like the game but at the end of the day, you got speak with your wallet cause it's the only thing companies understand.

I don't sub regularly anymore, but when I did, in addition to the craft bag, it was for double furnishing limit in my houses (350 for a larger home is miserable) and double bank. DLC access was pretty low on the list.

I used to pay for ESO+ to support the game - it's morally proper to finance services you use regularly and enjoy if you are of the means to do so. It was never about the benefits for me. In fact, ESO was the sole exception to my usual boycotting of games that have questionable monetization schemes. As the monetization schemes continued to become worse and worse, it reached a "last straw" threshold and I regret ever supporting this game at all.

On the plus side, there was a lesson learned here - never, ever make exceptions to the boycott. In spite of the positive potential of games-as-a-service, the industry naturally has to ruin that potential with fundamentally predatory monetization systems that are bad deals for the customer. Steering clear of GaaS isn't hard, and for the most part non-GaaS are better games too because they're designed first and foremost as art/entertainment instead of addiction/money traps.

I don't subscribe because I don't think it's worth it for me. I buy crowns directly to get the DLC and other stuff which interests me from the crown store and the other ESO+ benefits don't interest me.

I have occasionally bought a month's sub so I can dye costumes, because it was worth it for the discount on crown store items and once because it was the cheapest way to get the amount of crowns I wanted, but I always see it as buying that thing rather than subscription time. My free time is unpredictable, so I can never be sure if I'll be playing every day this month or will barely be able to briefly log in on enough days to get the exclusive item from the login rewards, and if I pay for subscription time I then feel like I'm under pressure to log in whenever I can to 'get my money's worth' and either get frustrated that I can't or don't enjoy it when I can because I feel like I'm only playing because I have to.

So between all the factors it's just better for me to stick to things I can buy which will be there whenever I'm ready to use them rather than things which are on a timer.

It's a good deal. All DLC, extra stones, banking space, increased xp and inspiration and of course the crafting bag.

I stopped subscribing due to the changes they've been making that have reduced the flexibility of how I use skills, purchase items from the writ vendor, the inability of ZOS to fix skills misfires, forcing players to regrind for things they have already achieved, etc. From my perspective where the game had greatly improved between the time of its initial release and 2018 when I started playing again ZOS has started to regress. My hope is as Microsoft takes over control, and they will contrary to public statements, that they will provide a more disciplined development process and bring in higher skilled people to turn things around. If that occurs I would look at starting up my ESO+ but if/until such time I will stay on the sidelines bottomless crafting bag or not.

I kept subbing for a number of years to support the game, then crown crates happened. Now I only sub once in a while to get access to the craft bag (I buy the zone DLC with the sub crowns, once a year).

Extra XP/gold is negligible, extra bank slots are largely unnecessary because I try not to hoard stuff, and getting DLC dungeons on the random queue can be a huge disadvantage when my play time is limited.

I subscribe because I like access to the full game. I do not like buying content piece by piece. Things like crowns, xp/gold +%, and other perks are ancillary. I also do enjoy buying a crown pack every now and then.

    I've subbed since launch.

The crowns, the craft bag, the extra bank space and furnishing space, along with access to all the content (including DLC dungeons) are part of the reason, as well as supporting the game.

If people on console are having issues with the craft bag, file a bug report every time it happens. Tell all your friends to do the same.

That's how you get it fixed.

I totally get this. Although for me, this is alleviated somewhat by using the six month option. Even if I don't feel like playing enough in a given month to make it feel worthwhile, so far I've always played enough within a six month period to make it feel like the total lump sum is worth it. I do try to stay aware of when the renewal period is coming up, and always sit down and reevaluate it at that point, but so far, it fits within my entertainment budget and I still get enough hours of use out of it to make it a good value for me relative to other options. But this could definitely change in the future.

As for the OP, I would say my reason for subscribing breaks down to roughly 65% for the craft bag, 20% for the extra bank and household item slots, 10% for DLC access, and 5% outfit dying.

Wanna know what it's like without ESO+? Become a crafter (striving towards master crafter), have multiple alts and still struggle with space.

Oh, do you immediately do all the Master Writs? No, than good luck with managerial skills. You'll need them - badly IF you don't have ESO+.
My wishlist for ESO ; AND my personal thoughts
A list of things I'd wish ZOS to improve / add / change

    1)Skills
    2)Overland
    3)Champion Points
    4)Replayable content in overland
    5)Dungeons
    6)Chapter ideas
    7)Other

    I.Skills:
    >>weapons: Polearms, Unarmed, Crossbow

    >>Sorc's Twilight - perched animation

    >>a skill line - a guild having this - to enable us to increase % gold gain for donating Ornate gear (another gold sink in order to gain more pennies - but over time it would pay off)

    II.Overland
    >>new skill lines - Adventure (enable climbing, increase flora and fauna harvesting chances)

    >>tree climing in Grahtwood / Malabal Tor / Greenshade, etc. (with tall trees)

    >>rock climbing in Glenumbra / Rivenspire / Stonefalls, etc. (with tall peaks)

    >>restoration of destroyed cities, eg. Satakalaam, Aswala, Gil-Var-Delle, etc. Making them permanently restored, maybe with some traders OR minor quest hubs.

    >>a way to make Overland more challenging - for those who want

    III.Champion Points
    >>Craft Tree development --> https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/594079/idea-craft-cp-sub-tree-ideas-constant-wip#latest

    >>a mount OF CHOICE (eg. horse, senche, quasigryph) for every 1200 CP in respective colours
    >>a permanent 10% bonus to gold gain from every source for 900 CP collected on Craft
    >> a permanent 5% attack / defence bonus for 900 CP collected on Warfare
    >>a permanent 10% bonus to health/stam/mag regen and 5% health/stam/mag increase for 900 CP on Fitness

    IV.Replayable content in overland
    >>dynamic pocket rifts to Oblivion - eg. to Vaermina's in Stormhaven, Boethiah's in Deshaan, Hircine's in the Rift OR in Bankgorai, etc. to get Daedric Sets relevant to the Prince, something like Oblivion rifts in Blackwood / the Deadlands

    V.Dungeons
    >>story mode for dungeons - sometimes I don't want to do a dungeon quest with sprinters. They will rush from boss to boss and leave without saying a thing. I'd love to enjoy the time, even though I've done a dungeon many times

    VI.Chapter ideas
    >>Whiterun + Fields of Regret DLC

    >>Winterhold (Winterhold Hold) + Dawnstar (The Pale Hold) DLC

    >>Timelines series: Cyrodiil
some Imperial noble/vagabond - a Tharn - becomes the new emperor, so the claims of Ayrenn, Jorun or Emeric are for naught. Vestige begins the long and arduous process of rebuilding Cyrodiil, 1st in their own alliance, and then as they would along Cadwell's silver and gold.
    .

    >>Solstheim CH or DLC.

    >>Pyandonea - we had some quests WITH Maormer (Summerset, High Isle) - maybe we could meet them there? Poke poke, nudge nudge, wink wink, eh ZOS?

    >>Blackmarsh CH or DLC.

    >>Akavir CH.

    >>Atmora CH.

    >>Peryite's Pits DLC.

    >>Vaermina's Quagmire DLC.

    VII.Other
(the ideas are also inspired by other Forum Users' posts)
    >>tracking achievements, eg. in fishing - what type of fish you need, etc.

    >>possibility to research traits on Companions' equipment so that we could change the traits

    >>pet battles! We collect SO MANY pets, and yet they are just cosmetics. What a HUGE potential lies within those tiny beats!

    >>ASOC - a new server in Asia and Oceania. If people have a bad ping there, it would be great if they had a server reaching their places more easily. And hey, it would make THREE servers, not two.

    >>highlighting WBs that are being engaged

    >>possibility to dye barding

    >>possibility to switch UI between guild bank<-->bank<-->guild trader

    >>display the dialogue options so that we can see which answer the NPC is reacting to

    >>Norg-Tzel - for Mara's sake, ZOS, REMOVE it from the list please!
    1) to an extent I'm not surprised why ZOS isn't adding some of the things we're asking about - the golden rule is: "people don't know what they want THEMSELVES". Yeah, unless... it's been asked for many times.
