What is there to do solo besides regular questing?
Achievments, public dungeons, collectibles in public dungeons, crafting, collectables for the muesum in orsinium, collect all the summerset artifacts, level up your guilds, grind out raw materials.
Do maelstrom arena until you collect every piece of gear from it on normal and veteran. Grind out champion points. Dark anchors, geysers in summerset, dragons in Elswheyr and harrowstorms in Greymoor.
Max out your gear. Get max amount of gold on your account. Do some more achievments cuz there are so many. Get every single piece of overland gear.
Maelstrom is def worth a trip. On normal it's quite straightforward bit like openworks..but on Vet it's a beast when you start out. Really good challenge..
PvP can also be solo. Roam about looking for smaller skirmishes. I used to like exploring Cyrodiil & Imp City when I preferred solo action etc.

50-100+ world bosses are pretty reasonable solo challenges, depending on your skill level.
So are all the public dungeon bosses and group events.
So are the two solo arenas.
So are at least 5-10 group dungeons, and perhaps a lot more.
All the above is really valid, except for the fact that this really isn't the ideal game for anyone who dislikes questing - that is the whole basis of the TES series including ESO. It's where the game excels - except for those who don't enjoy questing!
If the whole TES series is a turn-off from the questing point of view then there really are likely to be more suitable games out there, it's just a case of deciding what you do like and looking for that style of game (or some other other hobby).
That is not meant in any way as a criticism, or to point the way to the exit ! It's just to say that while a few players still claim the game was marketed primarily as a PvP title, and a few others may consider it primarily a trading simulator, ESO like the rest of the TES series before it is a CRPG that is based around questing, and for those who don't particularly enjoy the questing then I'd have thought there were other more compelling games to play or things to do.
There is a queue for solo battlegrounds as well. You will get placed with a random group, but that group cannot impede your ability to get rewards if you don't comminicate with them. And a lot of the players there also don't bother with trying to do true teamwork either just some very light teamwork.
So unless you cannot stand to be near other people, it's still pretty good to do solo since you're not reliant on your team as win or lose you'll get a decent amount of rewards.
